Insouciance

Control in oblivion; calmness in the chaos; peace within the abyss. I'm not spiraling helplessly, nor am I lost in confusion. I am freed by my angel, my spirit; freed by Lebius.

Within him, I have found more things worth keeping in pain, than I have found things meant to be thrown away in bliss. Insouciance was never known to me, but it was forced upon his troubled soul. And now, all things are known in time, and no time can be forever. Nothing tangible ever mattered, and that which could not be felt or touched matters less.

With great disdain they stared to me, they watched me, and they hated me. My tongue could not be held, and this never bothered me. To speak up with what matters most, to say what I know is right, I say. And after all, knowing is everything, but nothing next to feeling.

Thoughts travel at such an excited and quick rate, the trail is lost and understanding leaves with it.
