The website can not show signs of any descirmination towards any groups. I don't care for racism, sexism, or any other -isms that pertain, in a discriminative manner, towards one group. Now, if you have sex jokes or anything like that, I don't care. Everyone can enjoy a sex joke, and it does not offend only one type of person. A japanese person can laugh at a masturbation joke as much as an african. If you are having trouble with knowing whether or not the jokes on your website would pass my test or not, go ahead and submit it to me. In the end, it is up to me, regardless of jokes, the decision is mine.
One minor rule. If you are submitting your website to be linked with mine, then I request you link my website to yours. You are asking me to associate my website with you and I do not care if you are the governor of New York, I demand you link me in return. If I do decide to link you I will give you five days to link me in return. You will recieve an electronic mail from me with the message that I have added your website as a link and I expect to be linked in return. Five days after the message is sent, you will recieve another message. This mesage will tell you that your website has been taken off my links list, and why. Again, if you don't like this, fine. Then don't bother submitting your site to mine, and we can avoid any discomfort.
This is the last rule I have, for now. This is a big rule! Grammar, punctuation, spelling. Those are three very important things to me. A website is a way to express yourself, get a point across, or share a story with someone through words. People must be able to understand these words. So, no replacing whole words with numbers or single letters ('What r u doing?' or 'What can I do 4 u?'). There are some people who visit my website whose native language isn't english, but a second language learned later in life. They may have a problem reading such things. That, and I feel it is easier to read it myself as well. Of course I will let simple mistakes pass, such as 'typos' and missing periods occasionally. I understand that people make mistakes.
If you have a problem with any number of those, fine, don't submit your website for linking and you will not have to worry about it. I can be very strict on these rules, and I can also be very flexible. I have turned down some of my best friends, but it means nothing personally. So pleas, do not worry too much about this. If I turn down your website, no big deal. Maybe I am an idiot. When I do turn down websites, I try to give some constructive criticism. And when I accept websites, again, no big deal.
