GOTH.NET Privacy and Content Policy
GOTH.NET will not give out any personal details obtained by it to any third party (including bulk mailers, etc) unless ordered to do so by court order (aka. warrant). GOTH.NET pages may not just reload to another page. Having links to other pages is fine, however it may not just redirect to another services web page upon opening the page. All copyrighted works [Note 1] that do NOT have the express permission of the owner to be on the page in question and are not in the public domain are forbidden. All forms of illegal software (aka. WaReZ) is forbidden on GOTH.NET. Pornography [Note 2] is forbidden on GOTH.NET. Freedom of speech is protected and encouraged on GOTH.NET. If you have a problem with the content of any page, you should take the issue up with the author. GOTH.NET will only remove pages by third party request if upon legal counsel it is found to violate the law, or by court order. All GOTH.NET members who have a SUB-DOMAIN virtual host (ie. have a web page accessed as http://www.something.goth.net, instead of http://www.goth.net/~something) are required to have a link back to the main GOTH.NET page in their links section, and list GOTH.NET as a sponsor of their web site. SUB-DOMAIN virtual hosts will be granted only to users who are deemed by GOTH.NET Administration to have a page 'beneficial to goths as a whole', at their digression. This includes things such as goth clubs, goth bands, and goth web-based services.
Note 1: Copyrighted works is defined as any material (be it an Audio, Video or Image file, or any publication) that falls under copyright law, and is protected by WIPO treaties.
Note 2: Pornography is defined as any pictures featuring bare breasted women, or genitalia of either sex that is not captured in a purely artistic fashion (ie. has only the purpose of arousal). This of course is determined by the GOTH.NET Administration.
