The website was down for a few hours this evening due to software being upgraded on the system. Our apologies if you experienced any inconvienience due to this happening. Everything should now stay up and running.

As mentioned in the previous News item, I updated the content of GOTH.NET rather extensively in the time it was down so I'm pretty much up to date on that count, with the exception of some of the Writings submissions we got before the site went down.

I won't be updating the content of the site for a while, as I intend to work on some back-end stuff and some of the code. Some slight changes will be made to the current lay-out, and I might implement some additional features.

Speaking of additional features... if there's anything in particular you would like to see on GOTH.NET drop me a line and let me know. Feedback is much appreciated.

GOTH.NET is finally back up once more. We had some unforseen problems with our co-location pulling the plug on us again about 3 weeks sooner than the deadline they'd given us to find another place to host the box. This not being the first time that we've had to suffer downtime due to a co-location, we decided to have the box shipped to us here in the US and house it on our own highspeed link and save ourselves the hassles of finding another co-location and wondering how long it would last.

We ran into some other delays trying to get the computer actually shipped here, but, FINALLY last week it was sent here via FedEx and arrived here this morning.

There were a number of pending webspace submissions and email address submissions which we will be looking into as soon as possible.

The website has also been updated in the months it was down, with new art added in the Art sections and content being added to the Writings section, at long last. Also, new links were added to most sections also.

Both PreZ and myself will be going to Convergence 7 in New York this August (17th-19th), the annual net.goth convention if you didn't already know, so if you are also going and want to meet us, drop us a line. This is our first Convergence and we'll be looking forward to meeting lots of new people.

I've updated the Links section, and the Clothing section in particular. It was getting so large I've split it into seperate pages to make browsing the pages easier. Also new clothing links are on way, some are up already. Expect some updates to the Writings section too (finally!).
