 Shrine ideas/suggestions
I have decided to make a shrine for my personal spiritual workings and such its mainly going to have a dark theme obviously, and I was wondering if anyone here would have any tips or suggestions on design or where to get supplies

 Re: Shrine ideas/suggestions
A shrine is very personal and I'd suggest not to pay much attention to suggestions. It is your shrine. If you want it dark, then create it how you wish. Find what you want to go on it- things that mean something to you in the spiritual sense (as it's a spiritual shrine).
When I decided to create an alter for my magical workings, I knew the color theme I wanted but nothing else. I started looking around at things I like and my alter is now a very prominent Dragon alter theme with everything painted black and red with a black velvet table cloth and a black and red blood spatter cloth.
Also, I did most of my shopping on eBay and what I didn't get there, I bought at my local pagan store.
Good luck.

 Re: Shrine ideas/suggestions
Don't forget you can make things too- sewing, painting, sculpting. Take a walk through a favorite place- a park or woods or something and make a note of what speaks to you. Is it that moss-covered rock? Is it that owl skull? What can you do with objects you find? Be sure to be aware of whether you're on private or public land and what laws apply to found items, especially items which are considered artifacts. (I add this because in many states if you happen upon a neat arrowhead, you're required by law to return it to the government.) When in doubt, a trip to a craft store has proven to be inspiring and helpful (and if you're looking for dark stuff, check around Halloween for neat fabrics and props). Choose things which above all have meaning to you. It doesn't matter how cool it looks if it doesn't mean anything (just my opinion).
Like the lovely Midieval says, ebay, amazon, and local new age/pagan shops.

Like the lovely Midieval says, ebay, amazon, and local new age/pagan shops. Agreed. If it means nothing to you but for the way it looks- it serves no real purpose. Finding things and creating them are wonderful ideas as well. If the shrine speaks to you and it looks perfect to you- dark or not- it is just what you need.
