Re: The Raven After reading the summary of the movie (really reading it) and reading about it- I've decided not to watch it. If I end up watching it then fine but I'll not go out of my way to see it.

I don't know- it just seems so...typical? Setting it up that in the last days of Poe's life that he is in a serial killer plot/investigation based on his poems. It is just senseless to me. I guess I've just read to much of his biography. I somehow fear the movie turning into some stupid movie that is trying to get cheap thrills by using Poe's name and poems in a movie- if they use the poems at all. Based on the poems leaves lots of room for error and I doubt Poe would have given a damn about such a thing... Then again, what do I know? An investigation with Poe was the lead trying to solve murders based on his poems seems like a sure way to slaughter everything Poe was about. Re: The Raven Midi I absolutely agree with you 100%. If I go to see this film I'm sure I'm gonna spend the whole movie ponting out errors/inaccuracies/things that annoy me. But I'll probably end up watching it because I'm too curious about it and I'm a masochist..
