I believe he meant that FA-Q when spoken sounds similar to "fuck you"

Did you fail to notice that happened several months ago? Of course you did.

I will help you out with a warning pip if you don't knock it the hell off. Stop it. Now.

Ever notice that this is a qustion post and noone is infact posting questions

Oh well heres mine

I am relativly new to the "goth" subculture but since I started looking into it I have made a realization.... My city has no scene
None
I know several people who call themselves goth but have never heard of Joy Devision,SOM or Bauhaus. They instead listen to Slipknot or Cradle of Filth, Bands i hate.
I have only 1 or 2 friend who also listens to real goth music

So my question is given these facts how can I grow as a "goth" and interact with other members of the subculture :S :S :S

I know that most people who started out goth did so as the only goth or one of the only goths in their relatively small town. The online world is a great resource for culture, and getting involved in communities like Goth.net is a sure-fire way to grow and discuss, since it provides you with what is essentially a 'town' with 1500+ goths in it.

You could try using other sites to start you off on researching the subculture in general like these sites:

Study of the Gothic Subculture

darkwave.org

A Goth Primer

Gothic Miss Manners

Blood Dance

Sunlight and Shadow - Understanding the Gothic Subculture

Goth

You could even read books on the subculture, there are quite a few now, you can find them easily on Amazon (I found one in my uni library last week). Such as: "Goth Chic: A Connoisseur's Guide to Dark Culture" by Gavin Baddeley, or "Goth: Identity, Style and Subculture" by Paul Hodkinson.

You could try using the Darkwave link to find any clubs that are near your area, it's very useful, well the whole site is pretty much. And if you do find any go to them, even if you don't have any goth friends you could always still persuade your friends to go with you just the one time. I did and despite their not being fans of the music they have been going back ever since and have been dragging other people along. :D Just be wary of what kind of music the club plays, I've come across some clubs that say they're goth but don't play goth music, just that annoying dancey stuff known as EBM and futurepop. So I recommend you check out a club's website thoroughly before you go, that and if you're lucky like me you can request songs too and find out whether there's a theme going for the night (WendyHouse do that a lot).

Another good idea is to check out the music, you can always download the music off a program like Kazaa or Soulseek and see if you like it, then when you find stuff you like you can always buy the cds, in my case I rely heavily on the internet for finding goth music and have to order everything online due to a lack of anything beyond The Cure. So if I can find stuff you can. ;) If you're stuck for ideas of what bands to check out go to the music board on this site and go to the pinned thread on best goth bands, essential goth albums and threads like that and you won't be short of ideas.

Here's me tell me if I'm suited to call myself Goth. I always wear black pants with either dark red, black, dark blue, gray, another black, or another color I can't describe. I like to be emotiondead meaning I don't laugh when everyone else is and I don't cry when everyone else is but I do feel love for this one girl though so I'm not as emotiondead. I do not wear any sorts of metal on my hands or face. I dislike Metal, hip-hop, rap, rnb, and Mexican music. I do not paint my face I'm a guy. I like literature (and my english teacher is hott). I am a Pagan, more specific a wiccan. Oh yes and I'm very selfish except for that other girl I love.
