Okay so here is a general thread for our section. Where are you all? What are you up to? Have you been out clubbing recently? Bought anything goth recently? Sacrificed any small plants lately?

I am at college. I am not up to much; I just got out of bed. Yes, I have been out clubbing; I went on Sunday and danced like a dancin' fool. The most goth thing I've bought recently was a Gary Numan CD, and that's not really very goth, is it? And, um, no small plants...

And you're now located in the Australasia area? :P

Fuck. I didn't pay attention to what section this was in. I hate it when I do that.

The perils of just using the "New Posts" button...

I'm at home in Christchurch, New Zealand.
I'm about to go and hang the washing out as I just heard the washing machine finish (how domestic of me).
It's been so long since I went clubbing that I don't think any of the places I went to still exist in the form they were in at the time.
The most goth thing I bought recently was a fishnet shirt a couple of weeks ago.
I don't have to sacrifice small plants. My thumbs are sufficiently non-green that the mere fact of me owning a small plant will soon cause it to die. OTOH, I picked a whole lot of daffodils recently, does that count?

So Mes, you asked the questions but will you answer them as well?

Well, I'm right at the bottom of the South Island, NZ in a little place known as Invercargill, ever heard of it? Thought not.
Have I bought anything goth.. hmm.. lets see. Not really, the last gothy thingy I bought was lipstick but that's not all that exciting.
Sacrificed plants? eeek, you shouldn't be giving people ideas! I can see the headlines now "Mysterious disappearance of small fuzzy plants.. SARS for the plant world?" Anyway, on a more serious note, I'm actually buying some seeds so I can grow something for Ostara, no idea what yet but I'll think of something.
And on the topic of clubbing, I would need a fake ID which happen to be quite expensive, plus I think I can wait til I'm 18.
Have I covered everything? I would add something else alot more dramatic and exciting but it's too early in the morning.

I'm in Melbourne, Australia. Having recently turned eighteen, I'm rather looking forward to heading out clubbing, but being lazy, and having no money (and thus not being able to afford to purchase a keypass) is not exactly helping this.

To reply your plant question: I have a small "air" plant, (set inside one of those clay figurines) which I believe I may be killing due to underwatering (I'm not quite sure exactly as to the extent of its cactus properties).

Well, I'm a lil ol Goth from Wellington, New Zealand :) Yay for the cultural capital!

I am currently at Uni doing a BA in Anthropology, Religious Studies aaaaaaaaaand, Art History.... and Philosophy (wow, I really am going to be a bum when I grow old :) )
I don't have time to go out clubbing :( (or I'm too poor)

The gothiest thing I've bought in a while (cause I'm a poor struggling student) was a new skirt (well bought material.... made skirt)

As or the sacrificing small plants..... well does accidentally forgetting to water your flatmates potplant count? cause if it does....

Well, Teardrop, I plan to major in linguistics and philosophy, and then go on to do a masters in editing and publishing. I'm probably in an even worse position than you! Hail the future unemployed!

I'm located in the shockingly boring Brisbane. I'm tempted to prop my eyelids open with tape so i don't fall asleep after a boring day at work.

Clubbing..? Not for another 12 days at least ;P

Sacrificing plants? Hmm... I don't know what use that may be... but i'll get back to you on that one :b

I'm from Melbourne, Australia.

The only thing I've really done lately is gone to a film festival where they screened a short film I made. (It wasn't even a 'gothic' style film).

Oh, I did take a walk down Brunswick street yesterday and poke about the art galleries.

Have not been clubbing but might check out 'Blue Velvet' someday.

Shockingly boring? Brisbane? Excuse me? Do you walk around with your eyes closed all day? Hmm.. Maybe it only seems exciting for the tourists. Brisbane has to be *the* most exciting place I have ever been. I could stare at all the people going past for hours on end, and the shops! Oh the shops! It's heaven for a shopaholic like myself. The only thing I didn't like about Brisbane was the smell at the airport. If I remember correcly it smelt like feet, a lot of smelly, icky, moldy old feet.

I'm in Auckland, New Zealand X)
I've been cram studying for exams for the 2 days.
Went to a Punk/Goth/Industrial/Rock club last week called Submission... ended up playing pool, drinking beer and listening to Alice Cooper and Guns n' Roses (: :b
Haven't bought anything "gothy" recently but once I get $139 I plan to buy a pair of Red Plaid Bondage Pants at the Gone Gothic Store located in In Invercargill. They get most of their stuff from Lip Service... I have no idea what any of this means so can anyone tell me if this "Lip Service" place is any good?

Go Invers! Gone Gothic has a lot of cool clothes but they tend to be a tad expensive. Apart from that the only thing I don't like about it is that they sell Linkin Park and Slipknot merchandise X) They're also the only place south of Dunners that does hair braiding, which I'm seriously considering at the moment. Never heard of Lip Service, sorry, try google or something *shrugs*

Melbourne Vic
Trying to get my business off the ground and deal with all the other shit that's going on in my life.
Haven't been clubbing in a while because the plans keep falling through with my friends but hopefully again in the next few weeks.
No but I have been busily buying things for my business, thats where most of my money is going at the moment.
Only a chilli plant, but I swear it was a accident.
