I am quite into Gothic music... but I think it does sound better whit female vocals... any good bands... rather not underground as I live in norway and has to buy CDs in a kinda comercial shop, if you know what I mean...

There's Siouxsie and the Banshees, for one, and I don't know about the one you're referring to, but the commercial record store that I frequent (The Wherehouse) has Switchblade Symphony and Tapping The Vein, not to mention everything that they sell used, which changes quite frequently.

P.S. Didn't one of the mods tell you to take the picture off your signature? It can get quite annoying, and it would be in your best interests to take it off.

faith and the muse
cocteau twins
stoa
inkubus sukkubus
the creatures

Black Tape for a Blue Girl.
Mira.

Both great bands worth looking into.

There are simply bunches of great bands with female vocals. In addition to those mentioned above, there are:

All About Eve
Diva Destruction
Faith And Disease
Mephisto Walz
Miranda Sex Garden
Skeletal Family
Sunshine Blind
This Ascention
Trance to the Sun

In my opinion, Lydia Fortner is amazing.

* Darkwell
* Nightwish
* Theatre of Tragedy
* Lacuna Coil
* Blackmore's Night

...and so on... Not really goth all of them, but still pretty neat music.
