Our very own Nachtzehrer was an extra in Catch Me if You Can, I shit you not. Ask him! Aside from that, I doubt there's many true goths in the Hollywood film industry(as actors).

You rarely even see goths in Independent pictures. Maybe there should be a Gothic Actor's Guild (GAG), to lend power to goths in Hollywood! The midgets have one! Which is why you'll find a midget in every movie.

Well, this was in a tv show I watch, George Lopez, right at the end of the show. George's daughter Carmen got made fun of by the cheerleading team, so she joined the poetry club and made new friends. All of her new friends were over her house. They dressed gothic enough.

The whole funny, almost stereotypical thing about it was that Carmen goes up to her parents and says, "Do you mind keeping the blinds closed, please? Some of my friends are getting a skin color."
:p :p :p
I'm sorry, that was the only thing that came to mind.
Oh, and in the Scooby Doo movie, when they were going on the plane to get to that amusement park, there was a good amount of the goth/punk scene on that plane. Which was very cool.

Well, let me think...Beeltejuice is an obvious one,so is Addams Family....oh,and in Daredevil,in the ending resturant scene,I believe I can see a Goth girl with her back facing the camera.

The real question for me is where are the goths in video games? The Gothic Gaming Culture seems to be in a downward spiral, with not many goths playing console games and our kind being insulted day and night in some of the more popular gaming magizines (especally Game Informer). And I have yet to play a game with a gothic character. Please, somebody explain that to me.

He didn't say what scene he was in, but he did mention that if you blink, you'd miss him. SO get the DVD. I sent him a PM asking exactly where he appears in the film.

A new indie movie titled simply "Goth" from Brain Damage Films first comes to mind. Fairuza Balk in the "The Craft" and Mia Sara in "Legend" (costume was way over the top but the make-up was excellent).

Ho, I also mentioned Legend! I thought The Lord Of Darkness was the Uber Goth in that flick. Those Horns! Those cloven feet! I would love to walk around looking like that for just one day. Easter sounds good.

Not particular sure if they intended for her to be goth or not, but Rammy in Umjammer Lammy has the look and music.

And Lulu from Final Fantasy 10 has a very nice "gothy look"...

most of these shows can be seen on YTV. i love that channel, especially on saturday nights. they have something called (i believe) the dark corner...? shows all kinds of silly, childish horror junk, but i always watch it. im such a nerd.

Heh heh, you're not the only one, I watch YTV faithfully... even if sugar does have a rather annoying voice X)

Um, I really like the way Ginger in "Ginger Snaps" dresses. Not stereotypical black goth but goth (in my book) nonetheless. Especially the intro sequence with the "death" scenes. The poison tea party was wicked, had the whole "warped Alice in Wonderland" or "Gothic lolita" feel to it :)

hey great, i feel so much better not being the only one. :P

I just impulsively ordered this film from the Brain Damage site.
Should be interesting, although i've never seen a Brain Damage film. I think I just wanted a movie entitled "Goth".
