I would like to see:

* Coffeecups - Maybe black (or white for that sake)with the Goth.Net logo on it? Perhaps some fishy slogan or something?

* T-shirts - Preferably with the Goth.net logo on the chest and some slogan on the back? (I like slogans).

More popular (but perhaps bit bestselling) merchandise may be mousepads, and bags but that is secondary to the t-shirts and the coffeecups.

Since I am attending Digital Publishingclass I will try to come up with some ideas in graphical format...

Give me some hours and I will see what I can do (my own suggestions that is)...

Thanks for the offer, but we already have one artist who will do some work for us, and another one who we contacted and brought up the idea with.

As for using the GOTH.NET logo, that remains to be seen how that's done, using multiple colours makes everything a whole lot more expensive... so those are things we still need to look into at some point, a point closer to when we have the bankbalance back into "playing room" levels.

Lady/Baby Tee - Small

Hm..maybe i'll wear it over my fishnet top to concerts to promote Goth.Net. Well at least when i dont feel like dressing up so much.

I'd be down with a medium or large baby T.

As for the finances, why not do the pre-order thing? Once you come up with the design and all, you could set it up for us commited followers to pre-order the shirts. That way, you aren't footing so much for startup. Maybe just enough for 1 or 2 "this is what it'll look like" shirts....just an idea.

While an interesting idea, the main reason I wouldn't want to do that right now is because we couldn't give an exact date as to when they'd ship, and I wouldn't want to field endless "are they there yet?" questions and have people worried that we're trying to rip them off or something if it takes too long.

I'd be willing to do pre-order if I had a set date or window in which we'd be getting them printed so people have an idea as to how long they'd have to wait etc.

Plus you always foot screening fees with the first batch, which can be around $40. Shirts also get cheaper the more you buy, so there's a difference between ordering 10 and 50 shirts... and if we're relatively confident that we can move a certain number of shirts it would be cheaper for us to get one large order rather than a few seperate orders (we'd be able to keep more of the profits, and shipping fees would be cheaper).

Well, I'd happily donate my art-services--if needed--in exchange for a couple of free T's. Otherwise, I'd happily just buy one.

The standard price these days seems to be between $11 and $16 U.S. It might be neat if you offered something like bucket-hats, along with the standard mugs and/or messenger bags.

Devo~I voted size small, standard shirt. But I was tempted to vote other: size boys 14-16 juvenile. It's a more fitted look, and a good alternative to the baby-t for non-girly girls and wee little guys.

I think that you should also make longsleeve shirts and T-shirts (with you little logo on the front pocket) Yay!!! :b

Just a question on sizing - I know that the sizing of clothing is very different internationally, which is why I haven't replied to the poll - would it be possible to give measurements rather than sizes?

Also are there just going to be adult sizes? (just asking 'cause I'm on the small side, regularly buying childrens clothing so it actually fits)

And what about the shipment to more exotic countries such as Poland for example?

I was wandering if it would be to have overshirts with a small logo on the front as well? Normal T's in U.S. go for $10-$15 for men and $15-$25 for women. Coffee mugs go for about $8-$10 U.S. Semi-decent pens are $7-$8 U.S.

Please keep in mind these prices are based on general consumer markets and not your infamous Hot Topic or Abercrombie 'n' fitch. Yay I refrained using name spoofs
I would also like to bring up that these products are mass produced so the ACTUAL value isn't right, but you already knew that didn't you?

Oh sh*t I just reallized that those prices are indiginous to California. (California's average income and prices are higher than the rest of America, the reasons are so numerous that it would be more logical to post them on their own sepparate board.)

I live in NY state, near NYC, I think our prices are on par with yours.

Aside from that I'm not about to make allowances for prices based on geographic location.

Going by prices on sites like cafe press average t-shirts seem to start around the $15 mark, and baby/lady tees are a couple bucks more. Generally sizes over XL also incur extra fees, so I'm probably going to keep sites like that as a guideline for pricing.

I think the best thing to do is not putting up prices that are regular to your average prices, check first how much it actually cost to make the shirts and mugs and then put up prices accordingly.

By the way, when will they be produced\on the market?
