I really enjoyed the story, but maryjane was all wrong. She should have been more sultry, like in the comics. i guess they had to change the meeting of her and parker though and had to make her "the girl next door", but it just wasnt mary jane watson. The rest of the movie was good though, very entertaining and I loved seeing bruce as the ring announcer and I cant wait for the new punisher movie to come out. Dare Devil is gonna suck though.

Yeah, Bruce Campbell was a funny touch. Did you notice the cameo by Lucy Lawless aka Xena too?

ha ha ha, I didnt notice xena, I hate that chick though, her friend was hot. Gabriell or what ever. Anyway daredevil will be trash because 1. The dare Devil story itself is really bad. 2. He didnt have much for super powers, and the few he did have were kinda uneventful. and lastly 3. I cant picture ben affleck as a super hero. The only plus that movie has from where im sitting is the fact that kevin smith is gonna be in it for a camio. I still think they need to make a hearts of darkness movie rather then just traditional super hero movies. Or at least ghost rider, thats something Id want to see on the big screen.

Batman never had much in the way of superpowers either, didn't really stop that from being a very popular tv and movie franchise.

With the success of SPIDERMAN you're not going to be able to avoid superhero movies for a while. There's several comic based movies in the works... Daredevil, Hellboy... even a catwoman project with Ashley Judd apparantly...

Hollywood loves cashcows and safe bets, and SPIDERMAN, FROM HELL and BLADE prove that movies based on comics/graphic novels are still very popular and do well. With the success also of BLADE, and the, I guess infamy, of QUEEN OF THE DAMNED I wouldn't be surprised to see more vampire movies start popping up over the next few years.

I love comic books its just dare devil was bad. Is bad. Will always be bad. but then again im very judgmental. I wont be seeing it. I will probably go and watch the incredible hulk, I was reading up about it and thats something that i can see being entertaining. the new x men 2 might be better. The New punisher is going to be fucking sweet. his story is one that is just a ball of perfection, although im worried they might make it to matrixish. Id still like to see ghostrider but havent heard any announcements about that being in the works. A cat woman movie would suck too, Weve already seen her on the big screen, and it just wouldnt feel right. Spiderman 2 will be good, if they use dr. octopus and the alien costume. If they work it right they can pull of the alien costume development threw out the story of dr. octopus, and then the third one can be spiderman and venom. THAT would be a very good flick too, seeing as how venom behaved was just straight up psychopathic, and the special effects that would go into his costume would be something to go watch all by itself.
