in my eyes, this isn't all really porn, it's erotica. Erotica makes people a bit uneasier than porn I think. It's because there are actual real emotions there, not just a film about organic valves and pistons.

Yeah, but then the main difference between most erotica and porn is the absolute lack of thought put into it, the lack of inspiration.

Erotica... I think it's rare. The only place it can even be said to be done vaguely well are some films, and even then it is not always exactly brilliant. I agree with your point that emotions are needed though. If emotions are absent (from any art) then it is not something you should be looking at. Art should inspire feelings- if it doesn't then is it art? (good song- Levellers)

As to this being Hentai, I believe the tentacle rape hentai is actually a subdivision. This qualifies as hentai because it is basically anime porn/erotica. Therefore, while it may not fall into a subdivision, it basically is.
