I normally shop on:
Androm (it's a store that sells products of american brands),
Darkdoll (it's a store that sells handmade accessoires, and I believe they ship their products for another countries also. Here is the link (it's in portuguese, but google can translate this):http://www.darkdollalternativestore.bigcartel.com/),
Darkdesire (it's a mix of Androm and Darkdoll),
C&A (for shoes only),
and Claire's (just in Halloween, it's the only time that they have decent stuff)

Because, as far as I know, there are no thrift stores around

I shop anywhere that has sales rack. You'd be surprised how many "mainstream" stores have stuff that appeals to the alternative crowd if you look hard enough.

Wherever I can find clothes I like. To me, black jeans are black jeans; I don't care what labels on the back. The hardest thing to find in my general area is a good boot store. I've been dying to get a new pair of 14 eye docs and can't find them anywhere!

I do all of my shopping online. I've shopped at quite a few gothic web stores for clothing and boots but mostly, I'll just buy stuff from eBay or GothAuctions. You can find pretty much anything on eBay. :)

https://shrinestore.com/store/catalog/

I found this today, there is a military jacket there that I absolutely adore, plus they have some nice shirts.

I go to thrift stores more often and I kind of ignore most of the shops in the mall. I am pretty young right now so I can't order alot of my clothing on ebay, amazon, or any online webstores selling goth clothes. I like to get rings from Styles dress for less or whatever its called....But not any famous stores :o

I get all of my clothes from stores like Savers. Seriously, awesome deals, and if you look hard enough, some really cool gothic clothing can be found. All of my favorite articles come from these places :D

I don't shop, I get TONS of awesome hand-me-downs from my sisters, and make my own stuff... at least I am trying! I also get bits of awesome stuff from anywhere. I really need to get some black skinny jeans though.

There's still a handful of shops in Toronto that I like to walk into when I'm there. Places like Borderline, Hell's Belles (formerly Siren) and that tiny Plastik Wrap store sometimes have some cool finds. It all depends what I'm looking for. I'll go to the aforementioned to look for clubwear or attire of a more "gothic" themed night.
Since these types of clothings tend to be on the pricier side, I try to avoid ordering online, since I'm the type of person that would rather try it on and be certain that it looks & fits well. Plus, I actually find it more fun when I'm able head downtown, walk the streets, and hit a bunch of shops.

For an everyday or more casual/laid back attire, I find things in mostly any typical department store these days. While I still wear mostly black and have a darker fashion sense, I find I don't place as much emphasis on attire these days, or I should say don't really feel the need to "goth" up my look on an everyday basis. For hitting a club, event or special evening, sure... that's when I still enjoy getting creative. But if I'm just visiting family or a friend, going to the mall, going to work or to the gym, I'm mostly wearing stuff I got from your everyday clothing chains.

Generally I shop at H&M, Forever 21, Target, Ross, Marshall's, Nordstrom Rack, TJ Maxx... fairly mainstream stores. The closest thrift store is usually filled with junk so those are my safest bets for now, haha. I dress rather casually and all of my clothing has to be school-appropriate so I don't hit up any goth or alternative shops.

I get most of my clothes at mainstream stores; if it's in a dark color, I can usually make it work.

I've actually found all my Goth jewlery at Wal-Mart and Fashion Bug.

The thrift stores around here aren't very good. Every once in a while I can find a gem of an item, but that doesn't seem to happen very often.

Got them off their site, naturally.

I want to get some spiked wristbands and a collar maybe before I go on my Montreal trip, and I don't want to order online. What stores generally sell things like that? I got my studded belts before at this little kiosk at my mall, but they're gone.
