So I am going to be immersed in the world of Solid Snake for quite some time I love these games, MGS1 & 3 (Snake Eater, technically a prequel) are definite contenders for my all time favourite games I plan to play them in chronological order, so it'll be : MGS 3 : Snake Eater then MGS : Peace Walker then MGS 1 then MGS 2 : Sons of Liberty and then finally MGS 4 : Guns of the Patriots At some point I'll also play Metal Gear and Metal Gear : Solid Snake, but I'm not that interested in those 2. Very excited to be playing these games again Snake? Snake!? Snaaaaaaaaake!!!Hahaha! Nice! My bro is a HUGE fan of the MGS series. So I wish you happy playing!

I'm thinking about playing The Sims 3, possibly. I can't wait to simulate my dream-house, ha ha.

I finally tried The Sims 3 the other day (I've played the franchise since shortly after the original The Sims was released). It's different, definitely more realistic to real life than the prior games, but I think I like The Sims 2 best still. We'll see as I play more. Also, I know I'm behind. I bought Skyrim a while back when Steam had it on sale 33% off. I just now finally started playing it. Really liking it so far! I'm not too far in, though.

Re: What are you currently playing?
I got Eufloria while it was still on sale on Steam. I started playing it on my humanoid meat-based house-mate's computer, but wanted to keep my own scores. It's a real-time strategy based on the Freeman Dyson (no direct relation to Sir James Dyson, who makes the vacuum cleaners and hand dryers) hypothesis that trees can grow on comets, given sufficient resources, and thus creating breathable atmospheres. I originally saw this a couple years ago when the PlayStation demos infiltrated GameStop, and the design is just gorgeous, so I've wanted to play it for a while, and was just waiting for it to enter my budget. There's also a weird sort of mythology to this game. You're basically playing Seedlings, and you get instructions as the game progresses from a/the Mother Tree. Mother Tree regularly tells you that as more trees grow, The Growers will return. Enemy trees are fought and killed or converted to prepare for the return of The Growers. I'm not reading any potential spoilers for this.

Re: What are you currently playing?
Took a time-out from my metal gear solidathon to play Journey, and I'm glad I did, it's a wonderful example of game as art, beautiful to look at, beautiful soundtrack, and just a really captivating game. The multiplayer aspect is rather unique too, you can't chat to each other, and you don't really help each other with puzzles (though that is possible to an extent), you just travel together. I should say the game is both easy and short, but neither facts detract from the overall experience of playing it. My interpretation of the game was that the whole journey represented life and it's various stages from birth to old age and death, and then rebirth (the game starts again)Unfortunately it's only available on PS3, but I really recommend anyone able to, to check it out (there is a demo, but it really doesn't do the game justice).

Re: What are you currently playing?
Well for my birthday I got two new games on the PS3 and another one on its way from Amazon for the Wii. I got Catherine, Trinity Universe, and Arc Rise Fantasia. My heart broke into pieces when the local Gamestop did not have Hyperdimension Neptunia and the only one there was the second. I am so bad at puzzles but Catherine looks so enjoyable so I have been alternating from playing TU to Catherine. I don't know how I am going to stand a 5+ hour drive to my cousin's house to play these games for summer vacation. Until my cousin came to my house a week ago, I was leveling my character in the mmorpg, Spirit Tales, by X-Legend similar to Eden Eternal and Grand Fantasia, both of which I played. I am kicking myself right now from not getting more Harvest Moon games and the new Tales of Graces f. Oh! And to juggle another game that I don't know how I forgot because I play it so often, is The Sims 3 + all expansions + all stuff packs + Custom Content + Mods = Amazing. Without my little cousin to play Borderlands with me, I am too lazy to pick up the xbox360 controller to kill skags and run over psychos and bandits with the car (whilst shooting those colorful winged creatures in the sky with the vehicle's machine gun). Skyrim, forgive me, I left you 80% of the way finished and I am procrastinating trying to level my thief because I think my Mage Hybrid (Conjurer, Healer, Elementalist) is too epic for words.

Re: What are you currently playing?
Not too long ago I beat Silent Hill: Shattered Memories (PSP). I have to say that it isn't a bad game at all. It is really interesting at times and dull at others... but overall: Not bad at all. Looking forward to trying my hand at other titles in the series! Yesterday I finally beat Castlevania: Portrait of Ruin. Awesome game indeed. I started "Sisters mode" afterward and it is great fun! Stella and Loretta are awesome and make the game quite easy! Yes... I beat the mode today! Awesome, just awesome! I recently have had an incredible desire to get Alice: Madness Returns. I've been looking more into the game and it looks beyond epic! I can't seem to stay away...I must have it! But... I don't have a PS3...Arrgh! Fiddlesticks.... I can't wait to play that game... Hopefully it won't be too long...

Re: What are you currently playing?
I'm currently playing/in love with "Alice is Dead" series. It's a serie of three little online games (yeah, my computer is crap and I just can play little games in it, or just little online games. And I don't have any playstation anyway). I think they are a little tricky, because, well, you are in Wonderland anyway, and Alice is dead (at least is what you think in the beggining). They want to kill the rabbit and the Chesire cat was an experience that became wrong (I've just figured that out the 2nd tive I've played this). That kind of game. Of the same creator, I've played "Hood", it's the same kind of evil distortion of tales, this time with Little Red Riding Hood. She is known to be a witch and she is missing. The character you are using to play is the Big Bad Wolf (a Fenrirr that hunts witches). There are 3 games by now, but it would be 4 soon. If you are interested you can play Alice is Dead here: http://jayisgames.com/archives/2009/09/ ... er_one.phpYou also have the walkthroughs if you find the game difficult. For Hood, you can play it here: http://jayisgames.com/archives/2011/09/ ... de_one.phpAlso with walkthrough

Re: What are you currently playing?
I've been playing The Amazing Spider-man game. Breaking my "no film tie-ins" rule, but this is actually quite fun to play, it's far from perfect, but I'm enjoying it, combines the web swinging through Manhattan of the PS2 Spider-man games (1 & 2) with indoor elements ripped straight from Batman : Arkham asylum. Yeah, I know, what the hell is Spidey being stealthy for? But it works pretty well, though it's a lot more repetitive than in Batman. I have mixed feelings about how they've handled the bad guys (who are all mutants now), fought Rhino and Scorpion so far, it seems to be building up to The Vulture at the moment, but those fights are pretty easy compared to the giant robot fight that seems to inevitably follow them.

Re: What are you currently playing?
I've started playing Vampire the Masquerade: Bloodlines again. I made the mistake of turning on some of the music from it, so I had to re-install the whole thing. I love it so...
Actually, after surfing the net for a bit, I found an unofficial expansion to the game. So far it's proven to be quite the refreshing change from the original. New clans, a new quest line here and there. Fun stuff.
When I'm just passing time, however, I end up falling back into Heroes of might and magic. Three is my favorite, plus I can still get some work done on my laptop with the game running in the background. Multitasking for the win!
