Didn't pan out that way. Remember ittybittybat, you're only two postings away......... so if you have a show-stopper planned, better get to it.

 Re: Thoughts and Sharing Thread
Gather 'round all, for I have a story to tell...
I was taking a shower in the night, when all else had gone to bed. It's nice that way. Before getting into the shower, my careful mind did a quick check to make sure everything was locked up tight. I knew the front and back door were locked, and the curtains to the windows were closed. My mind hit a snag, that one of the windows was partially open with the screen covering it, but I dismissed that and stepped into the shower.
During the shower, I thought I heard a vague thump, but dismissed it as but some odd noise my paranoid mind turned into something else. However, a few minutes later as I exited the shower I heard it again; A telltale heavy sound coming from somewhere in the den or kitchen area. I felt my pulse quicken, my mind scolding me for writing off the window. Was someone out there? I knew it couldn't be the dog or the cat, nor does my partner ever get up once she lays down to sleep. I heard a sliding sound, and quickly dressed myself. I felt my heart flutter with the creeping fingers of fear, knowing that nothing to defend myself was nearby. But...my partner was asleep in our room. What if the burglar hurt her? I had no choice...I silently opened the door and crept out, making not a sound. I slowly leaned about the corner, using my height to give myself the view advantage, ready to throw my heavy bathrobe as a distraction if spotted....
The only sound I heard was the dripping of water in the sink and the dishwasher....
What if the burglar was waiting for me, a trap? What if....wait...
And I realized as the sounds repeated themselves that it was the thumping and scraping of dishes in the dishwasher causing the noise and fueling my paranoia. Someone had set the auto-timer for around when I was taking my shower...
So, never again will I take a shower around when that dishwasher will run!

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD MAN, WHAT DO I SAY?! Yorath: Dude, you made me think there was someone in yo house. And whoever set that auto-timer should get a beat down/talking to.

Aha, well that was my intent and part of the fun. When I realized the truth of the matter, I figure it'd make an amusing little story.

Oidhche-Yorath, you've given me new respect for automatic dishwashers. ittybittybat. I eagerly await your 666th post. I'm anticipating some itty bitty wicked fun from you. I'm so overjoyed today! The 1968 movie Isadora – FINALLY released on DVD! – arrived in my mail today! I hadn't even known it was coming – my man ordered it for me from the U.K. as soon as he discovered its release. Wotta guy! As a kid, I loved, loved, loved that movie! In fact, I think I wanted to BE Isadora Duncan, when I was a kid. I never missed it whenever they showed that movie on TV, and I always noticed what scenes were cut to fit in extra commercial breaks. -- Nephele

 Re: Thoughts and Sharing Thread
This Etsy listing/renewal fee revision came at a beautiful time, now I won't have a June bill and so will have about $15 more for the weekender in Chicago.
