I have always loved spooky. When I was in junior high Lenore the Cute Little Dead Girl was my favorite comic. I love macabre. Momento mori, taxidermy, bones, and hair art fascinate me. But any interest I showed as a kid was shot down as being weird and unhealthy. I have never had the opportunity to be a apart of the community, and at 23 I want to be. Everyone I've met has been welcoming and when you have lived your life on the outside of normal and suffered at the hands of your "peers" what else could you want? I've been goth inside for a long time, even if I look mundane on the outside. I don't really know how acceptable it is to consider yourself goth without taking on the physical connotations of it, but I feel like I fit in for the first time. I'm just a little fledgling; how do I seek out the finer things of goth?

I study English Language and have a fixation with Victoriana, antiques and skeletal systems. I'll probably lurk in the fashion thread and lust over shoes for the most part, but I always like to be surprised with good conversation. ^__^

Introduce yourself here! hi, i´am Hexe and i come from germany, but since 5 weeks i live in norway with my family. now i search other for goths near by my new home. unfortunately the norwegian thread is closed. is there someone, who comes from porsgrunn or somewhere around? i know, my english is terrible. i learned it at school 9 years ago and i never need it. so please, tell me if something is wrong. and to learn norwegian at the same time don´t make it better.
