This thread is becoming entirely heartbreaking. My best hopes go out to everyone. I say go and get some intimidating goth gear to wear to inspire yourself that you are a warrior in the end and will persevere through all pain and suffering. Atlas's arms got tired so gothdom had to take over in bearing the weight of the world since nobody else had the strength.

I wish I were more outgoing and was able to know for sure I wasn't always being a nuisance to everyone I met and tried to be friends with.




Any help on how to do this would be great. I'm tired of feeling like I'm always angry and alone.

So, I'm seeing my doctor tomorrow and will hopefully get the results from my biopsy then. I'll also be getting some iv chemo. The spinal tap has been moved to Friday because of drug shortages (they can only give certain anti-cancer drugs on certain days). There goes going to the conference I was hoping to go to on Friday. So yeah, the midterms will be done on Thursday. At least, that's the plan for now.

My thought? I fucking cannot stand my mother. No, seriously. She doesn't even deserve that title. She treats me like shit. I need to move out, badly. >.<

On a brighter note, I got some funky Gothy boots from a friend of mine, she bought them from a second-hand store, but they didn't fit her.

"Moving out" is a natural progression from childhood into adulthood. Some of us are lucky enough to do it under positive circumstances (new job, college, relationship), but others aren't so fortunate. Dont be put off, if it's the right time for you to move on and start out on your own, then find a means of doing it.

Today was an episode of what I like to call, "Cultural Misunderstandings." This girl added me to Facebook, saying she had a few classes with me in college. We get to talking, and she kinda liked me. Problem is, she's Muslim and her father is pretty strict. She asked me what I believed in, and I told her that "There may be a god, but I don't pay homage to him." Anyways, we talk and talk some more, and we both log off for a while.

About 2 hours later, I get a message from her father (using his daughter's FB account) telling me to stay away. Buddy could have just told me once, I would have complied.... but noooo he had the audacity to say he'd poison my coffee if me and his daughter ever went out for coffee together. I saved the conversation in case I ever need it later.

I'll let shit slide, but maaaan, some people need to recognize that in some cultures if you start running your mouth you're going to be met with a VARIETY of responses. He only gets a pass from me because I can understand there's cultural differences and I have no idea what resources this dude has.

The daughter tried to calm the situation by saying that they were "empty" threats but then she said that her father has only hurt one of her ex-boyfriends. I didn't know what to believe, so I left that situation.

^^That's was a smart idea. I wouldn't date someone if I thought their relatives were going to hurt me. And maybe I'm just not hearing all of the story, so I might be missing something, but I don't think her dad wanting to hurt you has anything to do with culture/religion. He just sounds crazy.
