 Yu-Gi-Oh anyone?
I was recently thinking of my favorite card game to date, Yu-Gi-Oh. That, and along with my favorite creature ever imagined. Black Rose Dragon. (It's so beautiful. ;w Now that we all know I'm a dork, I was wondering if any of you like(d) Yu-Gi-Oh, and if so, favorite monster?

While I don't play IRL, I occasionally hop onto Dueling Network. As for favorite monster, it'd have to be a toss up between Red Eyes Darkness Metal Dragon (for sheer mechanics) and Birdface (because I think that name is hilarious).

Miden of Macabre is great. 1700 attack, 4 stars, gain 200 attack per monster she destroys. To top it all off she's pretty too. Folds pretty well into my spellcaster deck.

 Re: Yu-Gi-Oh anyone?
I remember this game well, was tons of fun back in the day. I had all kinds of the video games and thousands of cards. Still have most of the cards.
I quit playing after they banned most of my favorite cards, that's not what I buy them for.
I tried that Dueling Network bit once, but I've found I have no interest in dealing with all of the crazy power creep that came along during the years. I suppose I'd play with someone so long as it was agreed the only sets allowed was Legend of Blue-Eyes through Flaming Eternity.
Favorites?
A tie up between Relinquished (coolness factor), Tyrant Dragon (power factor), and Cyber Jar (hilarity factor).

My friend and I were just talking about how much we miss this the other day. I used to love playing, and the only reason I stopped was because no one else was playing. It was such a sad day when I got rid of my Red-eyes deck.

I used to be so beast at yu-gi-oh. I had a harpie-lady deck(which is a little awkward when your a guy) that got me so many wins. But once they started banning all my favorite cards, it kinda made me angry.
Favorite? Most likely Dark Magician and E-Hero Sparkman.

 Re: Yu-Gi-Oh anyone?
I never got into the card game portion of Yu-gi-oh. By the time it came out, I had already gone through the madness of Pokemon cards five times over. I did have one pack I got in some random card collection thing...but they're all in Japanese/Chinese/something related (sorry, I don't know how to distinguish between their written forms in my current state of complete ignorance).
Does it count a little that I loved the TV show and re-watched most of the episodes last summer on Hulu?

 Re: Yu-Gi-Oh anyone?
My brother used to wake me up at 6 AM every saturday to come watch Yu Gi Oh with him! Oh the memories... He also beat me in every single duel we had. I cursed his skill and his magician-style deck.
My deck was an Amazoness one that he made for me, and I just loved it! But my favourite monster wasn't even in it. I'm ashamed to say that when I was younger, my favourite was Watapon. But now, I'd have to say Red Eyes Black Dragon, the staple card of Joey's deck.
