A beautiful film about the bond of laotong in Chinese culture (sworn sisters). The film deals with a pair of modern women and of a pair in the 19th century, and how their lives paralleled each others. Really made me reflect on the concept and nature of love between two people. |

Re: Last film you watched I just watched Safe House with Denzel Washington. It was alright. For some reason I thought it was going to be one of those movies that make you think, instead there was a lot of action (which I am not a fan of). So if you like action films, I recommend you see it.

I searched and found few articles on the subject. It seems that if it happens it may be a sequel rather than a remake. For those who haven't seen the original TV show, consider it. I like the beginning of it, before the introduction of Barnabas Collins, who then turn into the star (and is played in the film by Johnny Depp). |
