Aw, I wish there was more info on how she died, but I think that this just happened 40 minutes ago. She was a talented singer and seemed like a beautiful person. RIP Whitney Houston.

I was shocked when I heard this... I feel so sorry for her daughter, I can't imagine losing your Mum when just a teenager

Not trying to be the shitmuncher that 'disrespects' the dead, but she died of a drug related death, so I have no sympathy for someone who neglects something so precious as life like that. She was a mother too, who doesn't consider their own child important enough to take some responsibility? I'm probably subjective due to previous experience with drug abusive parents, but she should have taken better care of herself.

Anyways, it's pretty sad, I only really know about her though because my mother used to listen to her songs all the time when I was younger.

I've also seen too many friends fuck up their lives because of it. I suppose I could understand the pain of life being so great that to simply erase reality would be preferable to death.

Probably has something to do with Facebook too. "Oh I'll post a pic of recently dead famous person in order to gain attention". Her fans will have actually cried over her death whereas the opportunists will have posted a "RIP Whitney" Facebook status during prime-time and get as many likes as possible.
