They have a challenge at the beginning of the episode, followed by a runway challenge. For the runway challenge, they are given a theme, and they have to create and model their own outfits (full-paint and wigs, too) and wear them on the runway. And you can watch it in Canada if you have a computer and some internet. Viacom (parent company to MTY, LOGO, Comedy Central, etc...) gives limited access of U$ shows outside the U$, on the web (my bestie in Oz can't even access Daily Show clips on YouTube, half the time, so forget anything from thedailyshow.com); my guess is that if these programs were freely available on-line, it would be harder to convince foreign providers to license the show. You could try Hulu, or maybe iTunes....
