This book has been languishing in my basement for well over a decade, Amazon tells me I purchased it on September 29, 2000. I remember why I bought it, because the band Joy Division named themselves after it. From Wikipedia: "The novella describes 'Joy Divisions', which were allegedly groups of Jewish women in the concentration camps during World War II who were kept for the sexual pleasure of Nazi soldiers."
