None of "this" is real. We're actually all in The Matrix. Some of us are exiled or otherwise obsolete programs and some of us are human.

My general philosophy:
"Just repeat to yourself, 'It's just a show. I should really just relax.'"

 Re: What is your philosophy?
I hit that I'm still developing it, but to be honest I think already have it. I've always had the "respect the fellow living creature" type of thoughts. I wouldn't ever get mad at someone for having a different belief than I or even for beating me in a video game. I always have tried to be accepting.
I guess I live by the "live and let live" type of attitude, as long as it's withing reason and you're not going to try and hurt someone or start yelling at someone for stupid stuff.
Yeah, I guess I'm not as deep as I thought I was, some people had better responses than I.

 Re: What is your philosophy?
My philosophy is borne out of the realization that the higher power either A) put it all in motion and does not micromanage it, or B) just does not care, beyond his propensity to get bored and throw hardships at us like a bored cat torments a mouse.
Either way, we are on our own.
This sounds grim at first blush, but it lead to a fairly positive philosophy. Since we are on our own, the world is what we make it. So, the only way to make it what I want is to act how I want everyone to act. Not just do unto others, but to adopt, lets call it a penitent, attitude. Never take the big piece. Nor that last piece. Never walk through a door if you can hold it and let another through first. Be the first to stand up for injustice when it doesn't affect you. Do things the hard way, if it is the more honest way.
That about it.

 Re: What is your philosophy?
I always tend to get a kick in the ass of active inspiration now and then.
It's easy to fall into the trap of cynicism now and then, which is good for seeing the world as it truly is, without the weakness of illusion, but it becomes a hindrance when it degenerates one into apathy and laziness.
When one becomes lazy and apathetic, one becomes easier to control.
I've been far too easy to control these past several years.
I think there should always be a point where one decides to just charge their deepest fears straight in the face and get things done in life when they can get done, rather than leave things for tomorrow, because they won't go away.
Don't worry about it, just do it.
How many things in life are we barred from out of our own fear, insecurity, and uncertainty??? Life would be a lot more fulfilling and interesting if we just simply turn off those emotions.....
Believe in yourself before expecting others to believe in you....

 Re: What is your philosophy?
Oddly enough, Spock phrases some of my personal philosophy quite well in Star Trek: The Motion Picture, probably better than I could phrase it: Quote: Spock: "Each of us... at some time in our lives, turns to someone - a father, a brother, a God - and asks... 'Why am I here? What was I meant to be?' ...V'Ger must evolve. Its knowledge has reached the limits of this universe and it must evolve. What it requires of its god, Doctor, is the answer to its question, 'Is there nothing more'?" McCoy: "What more is there than the universe, Spock?" Decker: "Other dimensions. Higher levels of being."

 Re: What is your philosophy?
Religiously... I have no belief whatsoever since I don't care in the slightest. I'm not a theist, I'm not an atheist, I'm an apatheticist. My philosophy is the world would be better if everyone was stoned. You shouldn't care about the end until it comes.

 Re: What is your philosophy?
Given what's happening today, I will add this little gem of info about my personal philosophy:
Censorship under any form, whether perpetrated by the various governments, corporations or by the media itself, is a blight upon humanity and an affront to any semblance of morality, whatever your personal moral code may be. People have the right to say what they wish, regardless what they might wish to say.
Does this mean that there is nothing that should not be said? Of course not. Ask anyone who regrets what they have spoken after it has already been uttered. Ask survivors of Auschwitz-Birkenau who wish the Nazis had never swayed so many with their words. There are words too harmful to be uttered. Does that mean it's up to a government to tell us what not to say? Should it be a decision made by corporate giants or politicians who grow fat off the masses?
No. Censorship of any sort should come from within the individual - listening to that little voice within your mind screaming, "I wouldn't say that!", for example - or from the masses - the people of 1930s Germany, for instance, should never have tolerated any politician to utter the sort of racist filth pushed by Hitler and the Nazi party.
Would such self-moderation be perfect? No. Nothing will. There is no such creature as a "perfect system". Censorship moderated by the citizenry is still better than allowing corrupt bureaucrats or corporate moguls to tell us what should or should not be said.
