Ledge, all of the rest of your Chrissy pressies are going be COAL, because you didn't wait for the 24th or the 25th.

I think your man has excellent taste in jewelry – I would love to see a pic of that gothic charm bracelet he gave you!

Yes, he does. He's usually about as romantic as a rock, but occasionally he surprises me; this was one of those times. And HERE is a pic of the bracelet.

Hey, I don't mind getting coal; at least it's black and shiny. And I see no reason to wait until the 24th or 25th; the 18th was the only date that all of my husband's family could be together.

WOW! That's gorgeous! The silver looks beautiful on your hand! (I seriously need to drop a few hints to my own man.)

I'll take pressies any day! Glad you had a wonderful Christmas with the family on the 18th!

I use this recipe, but use more cocoa power. It ends up a very dark, dark red and very chocolatey. And I mix the black gel or paste food colouring you can get in the wedding/craft section at Walmart. You might find the glitter there, too.

Craft stores would probably carry it if you can't find it at Walmart. The liquid drops make icing too runny and it fades after a bit. Paste or powder is much better, much more vivid. :)

Sounds yummy! :)

LegendGirl: That bracelet is simply gorgeous.

My Yule tree was pretty simple this year. My roommate is allergic to pine trees so I used rosemary that I cut to look like a tree. It had white lights and a bunch of really old ornaments from Germany that I got when my grandma passed. I don't have any pic unfortunately because my camera decided to die on me :(.
