I use this recipe, but use more cocoa power. It ends up a very dark, dark red and very chocolatey. And I mix the black gel or paste food colouring you can get in the wedding/craft section at Walmart. You might find the glitter there, too.

Craft stores would probably carry it if you can't find it at Walmart. The liquid drops make icing too runny and it fades after a bit. Paste or powder is much better, much more vivid.
