Im so excited about Skyrim. I preordered it so i can pick it up at 12:00 am (i rarely do that)

Anyone who knows me knows i love dragons and the fact that you can be "Dragonborn" sold me to the game. Heck you can even be a VAMPIRE!!!

The nordic influence and the fact that the game will be endless. I loved Fallout but Fallout pretty much could be beaten in a few hours especially if you already know where your dad went. This game is FOREVER Game of the year for sure

As much as I loved Oblivion (and I loved it a lot, BTW. Same thing with Fallout 3 and even, admitidly, New Vegas), I'm not as excited as I probably should be.


I may go for it after it's been out for a while, I'm still enjoying Oblivion due to a lot of reasons (one being the music and how it presented the game in such an amazing way, I almost can't see how they would be able to top it. I thought it had one of the best soundtracks in a game)

I plan to pick it up eventually, but it'll probably be next year.
I just have too many unfinished games at the moment, I need to stop jumping from game to game.

Wait...you can be a vampire!?

I'm ready for it, but my computer is from being so. The best computer I have only has a 1.77Ghz dual-core processor, 2GB RAM, and NO dedicated graphics card.

Don't hold your breath..... it's basically Oblivion's vampirism all over again.

Its a beautiful game. They really nailed it. Thus far the problems I had with Oblivion were fixed, and then some!

So it turned out I was closer to finishing those games I was playing than I thought, finished 2 of them yesterday, so got Skyrim this morning
Really enjoying so far, went with a Dark Elf (with Bowie eyes...sort of ) using a sword in one hand and destruction magic in the other.

Thought about picking up a copy, But came to the same conclusion. Besides, Singularity is kind of fun right now..

I'll just wait for my ex gf to play Skyrim for a while and burn out on it. Then I will see what lies within..

We have it but we are waiting for both of our World of Warcraft accounts to lapse before we play it.

I'll probably let the SO play it and see what he thinks before I try it. Since it's for the XBox 360, I will probably get frustrated by not having a keyboard and mouse and quit after my first try.

Apart from some quest and pc GUI bugs this game is a large improvement on Oblivion and it is epic and stunning-- I've been playing with the graphics on low. There aren't just vampires, there's also werewolves in this game like in the Bloodmoon expansion for Morrowind.

I've beat all the Dark Brotherhood quests (in Oblivion and Skyrim). I'm playing a Dark Elf, dual wielding destruction magic with an emphasis on shock, or shock and a Daedric Prince's mace depending on the situation. Along with that, I've been putting perks into alchemy and enchantment.

I married my mercenary and we killed a giant together. I'll probably try to get a house next in Markarth because the game makes me feel guilty about her living in a bar.

I also have a pretty good Cicero impression (won't spoil who that is.)

Geared up my usual beserker Nord type character, but I find that the simplification of the game has made it a bit harder for those who prefer to specialise. I use two handed weapons as part of my class type but fighting dragons without ranged attacks is to difficult. The designers seem to think that you should be able to do everything, but what if you want to only do a few things but do them well? I'm not about to waste time faffing about with a bow if I'm only ever going to use them for fighting dragons!

Wah I'm ranting. That's my only annoyance, otherwise its a great game.

I must shamefully report that my dark elf is actually a racist, and is guilty of commiting hate crimes against high elves across skyrim :/

I really loved Oblivion, but like I'm wary of Skyrim's streamlined skills system and stuff. Like I know athletics and acrobatics have been removed, which is a bit "what?!" to me, but like I hope it doesn't mean characters are way too similar.

I'm still going to get it hehe, like having an openworld in harsh scandanavian-style terrain sounds pretty rad!

This game just gives me all the more reason to buy a PS3 with any X-mas money I receive this year.
