This used to make me laugh my ass off whenever someone made me play it with them on Guitar Hero. If they didn't bust out into that high-pitched whining they'd make an almost decent mainstream rock band.

The "Fear and Loathing" references were, indeed, what I enjoyed about the video.

Im loving Smashing Pumpkins song. Too bad Billy fired the orignal band and replace them with minons to do his bidding

Avenged Sevenfold is one of the best bands in the world. And Nightmare is amazing. All of their records have been incredible. I'm a fangirl. >.>

TBH...i like a few songs. not so much the band itself.

Nightmare is really good, so is "Welcome To the Family". But my favorite song by them right now is "A Little Piece of Heaven".

I wasn't into them when they first came out mainly because I saw the video for "Bat Country" and immediately thought they were hacks. Then I got to see them play live. Pretty stellar show. Now I like quite a few of their songs.

Funny how a concert can totally change your perspective about a band.

...i may also be cornered and forced to admit, that after taking my little sister to one of their shows years ago... I found the song "I won't see you tonight" to be reminiscent of some of my favourite older metal / hard rock ballads (i.e.: Estranged or November Rain by GnR)

If you give it a try, listen through to the end... might surprise you I've never heard anything else by them I enjoyed or listened to twice... but I do feel they pulled something off with that song...

I think the video almost made me pass out of embarrassment. As for the song.....ugh, I don't think I laughed as you did but I was more like "roll my eyes" at it


So yeah, I don't like the band either.
