Re: Your style - What defines your look
I dont have much cash so its what i can pick up at second hand stores or wal mart it go like this. Black carpender jeans. Wallet with chain. pocket watch with two chains going down to the pocket on left side of my leg. I made a belt out of five chains and a clip. My black foot tall deathhawk. Black leather biker duster or black biker leather jacket if its cool. Black shirt and a tiger eye neckless.

Re: Your style - What defines your look
Part of my style has changed since my last post in this thread. I still wear Tripp Pants, however I've begun to wear black cargo pants and black jeans both normal fit and baggy. The legs I tuck the legs of my pants into my new hi-top combat boots.

Re: Your style - What defines your look
I can never get enough of those knee-high socks that are on clearance at my local art store. I really love them because they have a new order of them every two weeks, so much variety! I need my long, black coat that has buckles on the wrists. And a pair of my three-inch, frankenstein boots. Those are usually staples that pull the whole outfit together. ~LorelineTwine (And of course I wear pants and a shirt, I'm not some crazy half-nudist... )

Re: Your style - What defines your look
Right now my goth closet is looking pretty sad. Last year I went through a "must wear colors - NEON colors!" phase. Add that to loosing weight and my closet is in a pretty dismal state.
So a current definition of my look - is it black? Ok. Am I dressing up a bit? Docs and a corset. Add a homemade choker. Done. Oh that and I keeping my hair dyed blue-black.

Re: Your style - What defines your look
I almost never wear flat shoes, it's all creepers or platform boots or some sort of heel. i also don't wear pants just skirts, dresses and leggings on occasion. I also tend to always wear make up, and I generally have a good bit of my tats/piercings displayed. Crazy hair is also a signature, either dyed a bizarre color or partially shaved or cropped into a boy short style.

The long black nails, super long hair, low cut shirts showing off my dermals and open heart surgery scars, and too much eyeliner.
Oh, and my addiction for Fluevog heels.

Re: Your style - What defines your look
My "look"... I suppose the question is more about dressing up, cos just sitting around the house writing, I'm in jeans and t-shirts or, more often than not, pyjama bottoms and barefoot with my hair up in a bandana.
My "signature look", I suppose one could call it, borrows from various movements I've found affinity with here and there. I like the sleek lines of 60s Modern and the 1920s, coloured hair from 70s glam rockers, hair from Australian swampies (The Land of Oz's equivalent of deathrockers; think Birthday Party, The Scientists, and similar music that shares a lineage closer to 60s Garage bands and Leonard Cohen's school of neofolk than most goth, whereas LA Deathrock was more hardcore punk in origin, and the UK's Batcave bands were equal parts 70s punk and glam in origin), Doc Martens, Chuck Taylors, buttoned shirts with a slim tie or a craevat knotted scarf, chunky glam rocker rings, eye make-up and clear lip-gloss. What everybody compliments most is the long (well, for a gent) blue-black hair with plum and emerald highlights, and the Monroe piercing with the anethyst-coloured "gem" on the ball. (ETA) Also get comments a lot on my cigarette holders. My main two right now are a black acrylic with white rhinestones (purchased from a tobacconist in Ann Artbor, Michigan), and then there's my antique carved ivory one ca1926 (a birthday gift from my best friend in Australia). (/ETA)
The end result looks something like a cross between old-school goth, one of London's Polari-speaking cafe poufs circa 1961, and a touch of Mod sensibility.

Ballet pumps. I can never have enough. If they have lace, ribbons or flowers I'm sold. (I'm a flat shoe girl) Then I guess it's my assortment of cheeky t-shirts and my colour coding. I'm rather obsessive about colour coding and matching. I tend to alternate between skinny black pants and very frilly knee-length skirts so that pretty much sums up the main aspects of my personal style. Oh and signature long straight hair

Sleeveless, and torn up clothing. Plenty of Spikes and rings(not a fashion statement ), combat boots. Special occasion - Fishnet shirt, or red button up, black pants (very tight or very baggy) Demonia Boots, and a long jacket( duster, or trench). Either way, Silver jewelry.

Re: Your style - What defines your look
Pretty plain for the most part. I do most of my shopping at the Salvation Army, or in the bargain area of Burlington Coat Factory. Can't tell you how many pairs of boots I've nabbed that haven't even been broken in (latest were a brand new $100+ pair of Rocky's for about $10), bdu jackets, or long coats (actually found a really nice leather duster with huge epaulets and really exaggerated lapels (think of an SS style leather trench) for about $20 the other year.)
Day to day, I tend to wear a pair of Levi's, a black t-shirt, and combat boots, with either a denim jacket, or a black bdu jacket (the pockets never cease to be useful), along with a fairly wide nylon web belt and my usual wool flat cap, or a black boonie hat if it's hot that day. I really don't care to draw a lot of attention to myself though. I like my clothes to be very utilitarian and hold up to abuse, and I require that my wardrobe allow me to conceal a full size 1911, extra magazines, and a flashlight on my belt while I'm going about my daily business. Sometimes I'll throw on a small spiked or studded leather bracelet or two, but they're usually hidden under my jacket sleeves.

Re: Your style - What defines your look
Well I always wear dark collar shirts wth blue jeans. I never wear anything to bright. I'm trying to go for a more industrial style though. I'm thinking about getting a chain or something.

Re: Your style - What defines your look
I am a mix of Victorian/Romantic Goth and Deathrock. I have a black lace parasol, a black mourning hat (With a spider web veil!), a nice black velvet shirt, etc., etc. But then I also have many ripped items, pieces with safety pins, fishnet, etc. And I have five pairs of boots: Two pairs of knee-high combat boots, platform boots, ankle-length Victorian-y boots, and ankle-length combat boots. I also have chokers (A bat one, a velvet one with "Vampire bites" and "Blood droplets", a Victorian beaded one) and many, many gloves. I wear black eyeliner (And use it as eyeshadow) And black lipstick when I can. I've never been a T-shirt and jeans kind of person, not even before I got into Goth fashion... I always thought jeans were extremely uncomfortable, anyhow.
