While I haven't really listened to them much, AFI used to be my favorite band from like 2003 to 2009 (then I saw Peter Murphy live...and the rest is history). But, they did a pretty decent cover of Just Like Heaven...in the presence of Robert Smith even! |

It's very well done, quite possible the most accurate cover, (of any song, by any artist) I've ever heard. I remember watching it years ago... It's not often a band covers a song in the same key, in it's original composition... Re: What is your favorite remake/cover song? I have been thinking on this for a while and I am a bit shocked to admit it, but I think I prefer Inkubus Sukkubus's cover of Spellbound to the original song done but Siouxsie and the Banshees.
