 Re: Bands you hate.
ANy bands that scream their heads off all the time... Every now and then that great... but all the time? It gets a little annoying. I mean If you have a band at least be able to sing. Any DIsney band... Not because they cant sing but because they put nothing into it. Katy Perry, Brittany Spears... any other people like them because they just cant sing for crap. Rappers, again they cant sing for crap and i dont know why they are famous.

Ugh I hate bands like this. But its still worth a good laugh if anything. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KDzt6yI3Dw8I don't think they put their guitars low enough to the ground or run and hopped in place enough .

Well, I don't mind that, except this random dance bit towards the end. That was a bit silly there, but other than that I do like the sort of jagged beats, but I rather like metalcore due to its tendency to have such rhythms and sudden shifts in time signatures which I LOVE. Are these guys all brothers though? They look alike. It would be novel if they were quintuplets or something. I hate KE$SHA! Dammit, a man being nice doesn't mean he has a vagina! Why do people think that being a real man equals being a dick who treats a woman like steaming dog crap?! No it does NOT! I do not want to be treated like steaming dog crap. I want to be respected!

And with rappers, they make their false senses of security around the shallow lifestyle they've entagled themselves with. Having successfully divested themselves of a profound soul, they celebrate their rank as "famous".

Ugh, makes me think of Brokencyde if they were trying to do a metal song......which is not a good thing what-so-ever.

I highly doubt Varg was innocent. Aarseth was a nut but Varg Vikernes wasn't to far off either. At least before he went to jail. He just didn't simply catch the wrap from his friend. He stabbed him far more times than his self defense claim warranted and he participated with the church burningd. However his music is genius. I love me some Burzum. I don't dislike Aarseth because of that, I don't like the fact that he took pictures of his bandmate (ohlin) after Ohlin committed suicide while "moving some things around" (yeah right, an excuse to cover up his prints, I'm sure). And then he used the pictures in an album, EP, whatever the hell it was. I just think that that is very disrespectful. Ohlin was obviously in pain, and I feel like Aarseth only put those pictures on the cover for shock value. That is sick and rude on so many fucking levels.

They've traded the whiny Blink 182-inspired vocals for those synthesizers/toners(whatthehellaretheycalled?). The only thing more funny than the wanna-be-death-metal-growling is when they bust out with the whiny, high-pitched vocals.

Not really a band I hate, just a trend...
I hate putting the word "core" at the end of every damn thing. I have seen metalcore, hoodiecore (I wish I was making that up), beardcore... Must everything have that suffix, really? I know where it came from, and it's time for that trend to die. Preferably writhing in agony.

Quote: A new sub-genre of music, started in America, which comprises of so called "Happy Hardcore" metal music. The songs are lyrically sung rather than shouted, but all the major ideals from metal are there (the double pedal, drop tuned guitars, breakdowns.) The only major difference is the songs are played in a major (or "happy") key. Beardcore is attached to this small sub-genre, because of the leading band, Four Year Strong (Who together have more hair than a sheep).

I often fear the turn society takes for the in what my personal opinion is trivial and ridiculous. It sounds like folk music trying to hard to be rock.

Dunebat, I believe this could be the budding of beatiful friendship. Say, what is your opinion on countrycore?

Having inhabited the West Texas wastes for the entirety of my twenty-nine years on this little blue-green marble, I have a very well-informed opinion of Country music itself: I can't stand it. If it's "old school" (that term grates on me so) like Johnny Cash, I can enjoy it. If it's folksy like the music from the O Brother, Where Art Thou? soundtrack, I can enjoy it. If it's anything modern, I want it to die in a fire. That said... countrycore? Countrycore?? This misbegotten abomination should be put to a merciful death before it ushers in the Tribulation! (Unless we're talking about a joke band like Hayseed Dixie; that I can hang with.) Now, with that said, discovering that a sub-genre of music dubiously called "Texacore" depresses me like you wouldn't believe.

 Re: Bands you hate.
Dare I look up Texacore? And yes, these fools of society has developed contrycore. Another genre I can't stand is emocore, the mix between hip hop and emo. Rap is shallow and emo is whiney. The combination of the two is unbearable. And perhaps you can change my mind about country; I personally haven't found a single country song I've liked. Damn, there's the school bell... I must go. We'll continue this conversation, I hope?
