Similar to MLIA (My Life is Average) and MLIT (My Life is Twilight), MLIG is a game where you tell a funny true story showing just how goth you are.
I'll start.

Today someone asked me who my role model was. I said Wednesday from The Adams Familiy. MLIG.

I was on the phone with my favorite bookstore and asked for three vampire books from the Twilight series my Maggie Shayne (NOT Stephenie Meyers!) and the owner of the store asked me if I were a vampire. I thought my goth points went up a bit with that....

Most definitely. I read the Twilight books (by Stephenie Meyer) just to check them out and no pun intended, they suck.

Okay I'll do one more before I go.
When people ask me what my favorite color is I say it's a tie between blood, ash, and dark purple. They look at me weird and walk away. MLIG.

The first time I saw a Team Edward shirt I thought they were referring to Edward Scissorhands. MLIG

My sister was talking about the things that constituted a perfect romantic evening, and when I got to the part where my evening ended with a stroll through a moonlit cemetery, hand in hand with my tall, mysterious man (wearing a cloak with long hair) she looked at me as if I were insane

I was sitting with my husband in front of our bat-decorated Christmas tree, dressed in black velvet, opening a gift from my mother that turned out to be a skull necklace. MLIG

I've considered retreating to the cemetery just to get away from the library/park full of screaming children/hurtling dogs. MLIG

Everyday in Language Arts my teacher asks us a question and each of us has to answer. This is how she takes attendance. Today's question was : "What animal do you associate yourself with?" I said a rat. And before you ask yes I am an Emilie Autumn fan MLIG

Now that summer is almost here, I'm doing a lot of work in my garden. I thought my front lawn needed the perfect something to jazz it up.

So I ordered these.

Conversation I had:

Him: What are you?
Me: I'm Goth.
Him: What does that mean?
Me: Its a music subculture. It basically means I'm strange.
Him: You're not strange.
Me: Am I not? I guess that means I need to try harder.
Him: (weird look).

I love those things. Not only are they humorously macabre, they also remind me of dinosaur bones exhibits.

They could almost pass for raptors. Which is the word I now pretend to hear whenever anyone starts talking to me about the "rapture." MLIG
