Re: Your favorite 'awful' piece of clothing
My ex-boyfriends mother gave me a bunch of clothes that didn't fit her anymore. Amongst these clothes was a horribly ugly brown sweater. But it's so soft. And so comfortable. I wear even though it looks like a turd.

An ankle-length black sleepshirt with "Victoria's Secret" down the left side in big white letters. It will be a sad day when I have to throw it out. It's actually more grey than black, now.

My new orange monstrosities! They're comfortable so I won't sprain my foot again while running, as I did in the narrower shoes. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.

I have an old Manson (Yes Marylin Manson ) T-shirt. I love it. Its big and comfy. Something I never gave back to an ex many moons ago. Its has hot rock burns all around the bottom from my silly stoner days and the neck line is coming away. I still wear this even if Im leaving the house! I adore it! Look awful but its just a great shirt!

Re: Your favorite 'awful' piece of clothing
I own a light pink silk pajama set that my grandmother gave me. I like it because of how comfortable it is and (creepiness forthcoming) it smells like her perfume no matter how much I wash it.

Re: Your favorite 'awful' piece of clothing
Black UGG knock offs! I got them because for a while I was working nearby, and walking to work in the snow in ballet flats wasn't cutting it, and being a cashier on my feet all day, heels and platform boots weren't the best option. I've seen some gothy ones with zombie details, I kind of love them lol.

Re: Your favorite 'awful' piece of clothing
I think that moccasins are the closest I could ever come to wearing UGG boots. My current favourite 'awful' pieces of clothing are those crappy elastic hair bands that come in a 3 pack. Great for when you just can't be arsed to do your hair.

Re: Your favorite 'awful' piece of clothing
I have this old brown sweater. My ex-boyfriends mother gave it to me, since she herself couldn't fit a size zero anymore. And it's so ugly. Really, really ugly. But sooo soft! And it keeps me warm.
My old leather boots are also pretty awful. The zippers are broken, there's a hole in the left one right at the toes, and the leather is beaten up, full of scratches, and they're so dirty that no amount of cleaning will ever make them look presentable after I've walked through mud, water, and forest ground. They're also the most comfortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. I wore these boots every day for five years, and I'll still wear them if I don't have to look fancy. I love them so much.
