Just to go find an estate sale of Victorian/Edwardian/Art Nouveau/Art Deco jewelry and take my pick.

 Re: What you desire?
More butterfly and moth tattoos. Especially moths. People don't love moths enough. They're so adorable and cute, and prettier than butterflies, I think. I need better clothes. I would like a nice vest with a pocket watch pocket, a frock coat and a lovely shirt to go with it, perhaps a corset so I can dress in a boobalar fashion? Some nice aggressive books. More good books, more music. I always need more music. I can never get enough of the stuff. And a really cool hat that's just so bitchingly cool the world covets it.

 Re: What you desire?
The reason that most people hate moths is because they have a tendency to eat these tiny holes in your clothes that make an expensive shirt look like a piece of ragamuffin clothing. I kill the little buggers if they get in my house.

 Re: What you desire?
Uh, oh. You went and did it. Now you must be treated to The Lecture on Moths. There's only one species of moth that eats clothes, and it's not the moth, but the larvae. I suspect CARPET BEETLES ate holes in my clothes. In fact, most moths either eat what butterflies eat, nectar, or they don't eat at all such as giant silk moths. http://www3.islandtelecom.com/~oehlkew/zcecmoth.htm like cecropia moths and luna moths. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Actias_lunaThey don't have mouth parts, so they can't eat. So there's only one species to dislike, while other moths are extreme special and awesome http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... oth_up.jpg this is one of my tattoos. http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/c ... oth_up.jpg I WANT this to be one of my tattoos. Death's head hawk moths are so cute. End of The Lecture on Moths soon to be a powerpoint presentation. Also I want more moth cocoons. And to convince people to love moths because they're so cute and they are very gothy in the lepidoptera world.

There's still flies. And female wasps. I hate those things. They'll sting and then call their sisters to sting some more. And don't get me started on Japanese hornets. Big giant HORNETS who do not NEED TO BE THAT BIG.

Japanese Hornets are horrible. They kill all the bees.

 Re: What you desire?
they do. They kill the European bees. The Japanese bees know how to take care of them though. Yeah. They should get the Japanese bees to show them how. Stupid giant hornets. There's no reason for a stinging insect to be that huge.
Also I need money. At least I don't have to come up with 2,000 bucks of backrent. Being a criminal is illegal.

 Re: What you desire?
Hello. Since I can't make a new topic, I'm hoping this is an appropriate place to post. I've been looking for a long black coat (trench, duster, what-have-you) but I've been having a lot of trouble. Though I don't really fit into the gothic subculture, you all seem to be really good at finding cool clothes, so I thought I'd ask around. I've been searching the internet for a good five days now, rapidly exhausting eBay (I still check daily), Amazon, and Google's shopping tab. I've searched every key word I could think of in every combination (black, long coat, trench coat, duster, gothic coat, emo coat, full length, ankle length, etc.), and nothing reasonably priced has turned up. I've even searched this forum for online stores, and checked all of GOTH.NET's links. I'm hoping to find something in the $70-$80 range, but am willing to go over if I've gone through all other options. What I've found is always over $100 for anything of quality. Even the ones that are cheaply made ($40-$60) come from over seas and shipping easily brings them up to the same price as the better-made ones. Length is also an issue. Since I'm 6'1", something in the 54" range would be ideal. Here's a short list of candidates I've come across, but I'm really hoping to find something better. This one probably looks the most like what I'm after (and is even made of wool), but at $83 before shipping (and I believe it comes from Germany, so shipping will be high), it's not really the best option. http://www.x-tra-x.de/bilder/artikel/01453.jpgThis cotton one comes to about $107 after shipping, and looks pretty good. This is probably the one I'm most likely to purchase, but I'd really like to get one cheaper. http://www.dracinabox.com/large.cgi?image=00550_a.jpgThis one's also really nice, and at $95 after shipping, but the straps on the arms kind of bug me since they take away from the look I'm going for. http://www.findcoolclothes.com/products ... nisher.jpgThis one is probably the lowest one I've found ($70) but being made of canvas is definitely a down-side. http://www.rivithead.com/products/medium/673.jpgAnd finally as a bad example, this one was a low quality coat that I was willing to settle on until I realized that the shipping would bring it to the same price (over $100) as some of the better coats above. They also carry a gorgeous red coat that's way beyond my price range, but I digress. http://www.thedarkangel.com/catalogue3.php?pic=1&p=51The oilskin dusters I've found which look perfect and are in my price range are being omitted due to, you know, being oily. I live in Florida; weather-proofing isn't an issue. Price wouldn't normally be an issue when I'm trying to spoil myself, but, since I'd be wearing this to my school, I'd want something like a briefcase and a pair of dress shoes (and perhaps a fedora) in addition to the coat to round out the professional look. Any help in finding this would be greatly appreciated.

 Re: What you desire?
If you have the money your best bet would be to take $150-300 and just buy a nicely made trench. All of the ones you linked to do not look like the kind of coat you will want with a briefcase and fedora. You will probably want a knee-length black wool trench coat. I saw a guy on campus with one of those, a fedora and a crisp black suit. He looked awesome.
I was just etremely lucky to manage to find a long black coat that I liked(and was much cheaper than my spending limit) on ebay. It is a gorgeous black velvet coat that keeps me warm even in the most cutting wind(dense cotton velvet lined with high quality satin).

 Re: What you desire?
I would love a frock coat and a long coat that goes WOOSH when I walk so I can strut around pretending to be cool while folks go, how dorky but I WOULD NOT CARE because my coat would be going WOOSH.
Also I need more Deg t shirts because all of mine have holes in them from wearing them a lot.
