Post Who drinks coffee?
Who drinks coffee, and how do you make it?
I like making my coffee with a French press, tastes so much better then drip. I also like to grind it myself so it's fresher. And today I got a bag of coffee beans labeled "Dark Side of Life". I haven't tried it yet, but I will tomorrow morning. I just have it with some sugar, nothing else added.

Post Re: Who drinks coffee?
I've been drinking coffee since the age of 12 and I've tried to wean myself off many times. I like it with milk and sugar or just sugar. The better tasting the coffee is, the less likely I am to add milk to it. Evaporated milk and coffee is awesome, by the way.

As much as I love coffee, I love it more when I pick it up from the truck or cafe. I don't really like to make it at home.

I actually don't drink coffee (runs and hides). I've actually only ever had it twice I think, and someone else bought it both times as I recall. One was a cappuccino at school, the other was a coffee with cream in the hospital after an extremely long night. I'm more of an iced sweet tea kind of person, with lemon if possible.

Black and strong enough to melt a hole through sheet metal.

Except around xmas time when the stores carry peppermint creamer in the dairy section which is the only thing I will normally put in my coffee.

Post Re: Who drinks coffee?
I wasn't allowed to drink coffee until recently, but now that i am sixteen my parents will make me coffees or buy them if we go to a coffee shop, whereas before i had hot chocolate or tea. I don't really know how i like it yet- at the moment i have only drunk it for the effects of the caffeine and have it too sweet and too milky so i can scull it on the sly before i go to school. I am a bit wary of drinking/eating stuff that you can become dependent on- i know my brother got withdrawal headaches from drinking it heaps when he was doing breakfasts (he's a chef). do you regular coffee drinkers find that you are dependent on it after a while?

I drink mine with milk and sugar, and I'm a flavored-coffee fan. I'm currently drinking Green Mountain Coffee Roaster's "Spicy Eggnog" coffee, which is exactly what it tastes like. BTW, I have a Keurig single-cup brewer, so I use k-cups. It's excellent for my husband and me, because we can have a cup whenever we like, and I'm not constantly throwing out half a pot of coffee.

*edited to fix stupid grammatical error.

Italian = espresso

is there really another way to make coffe?

Just joking, actually I do not like espresso that much, I like my coffee "american" with milk and no sugar, but if I must pick espresso (since it's the only thing you can get at a caffee or in the office over here) I would most definitely go for Mocaccino with sugar.
I also like ginseng coffee and barley coffee (the latter with milk).
I guess I score as a tea drinker, and this brings me to a question to Minnie:
how do you drink your tea, with milk or lemon?

I drink coffee. Quite strong, black, and no sugar. Occasionally, I have an espresso at work or a cappuchino when I'm somewhere else.

I sometimes take tea with milk; however, I prefer blends to which it would be sinful to add milk - green tea, peppermint tea, Russian caravan... Some people drink Earl Grey with milk, but I prefer without.

But I prefer coffee!

Mmmmm...Earl Grey with milk. If the world runs out of Earl Grey, I don't want to live anymore.

I drink coffee in the morning because I'm a morning zombie.

I drink coffee all day, black, sometimes with sugar, sometimes without, depending on my mood, always strong.
I've found recently that I am somewhat dependant on coffee, when I went 4 days without any, I was very tired and falling asleep very early.
So as long as the flow is constant, I'm fine *twitches*
:)

I guess I would like to, if not give up, at least seriously cut down at some point, but...it tastes, and smells so good.

Coffee might as well qualify as an obsession for me, especially recently. A friend of mine actually gave me the strongest blend of coffee she could find for the holidays.

Sounds like you need more blood in your caffeine stream. I don't drink it very much so I don't become dependent, and I only have small cups. Espresso is very good, and it's a more efficient way to consume caffeine.

And Cassy scores more english then Minnie when it comes to tea!!! It depends on the blend! Some sorts of tea simply cannot go with milk, to stick to the Earl Grey blend, it contains bergamot, and we all know well that milk curdles if put with citrus fruits :D
