So, I followed the formula until I figured out the quickest and easiest way to do it. It just takes a bit of time to get used to! Yeah I did not know how to do it until Spiderlimbs created a thread about it.

Or I got subconsciously scared by the words 'codes' (scary computer language) and 'images' (i'll just post the link if needed to post one) I think I understand it now, but I'll take the easy option when it comes to posting pictures. If I ever get the desire to post one, I'll just post a link to it.

Re: Board Rules, Tips & Tricks
I'm not really sure where to post this, and my post count isn't high enough yet to start my own thread in the 'Help' forum. ...So, here goes. Is there a way to view the whole forum with different formatting? The red-on-black and white-on-black is murder on my old eyes. I've searched the Help topics and searched around the forum a little and haven't found a way to do it, or the topic addressed at all. On some of the other forums where I'm a member, there's usually a way to change the format at the bottom of the main page. I haven't found anything similar here. Can anyone help? Thanks.

Re: Board Rules, Tips & Tricks
Well, although the GOTH.NET site is undergoing a redesign, this is a very slow process - so in the immediate future, we have no plans to change the color scheme, and the color scheme cannot be altered using the forums (we have deliberately disabled user theme changing, as it ruins the entire site aesthetic). I have heard of some users using browser plugins that change CSS on the fly from certain sites to alter the colours, however I don't remember what the plugin was called (I'm pretty sure it was a FireFox plugin) - nor do I know how to use it.
Other than telling you to try adjusting the contrast/brightness on your monitor, and ensuring there is sufficient light in the room, I'm not sure what else I can tell you.

Well, thanks for the info, at least. I'm disappointed there's no option to change the format. Changing the contrast/brightness on my monitor won't do me any good. If the format isn't changed soon, I'll have to forgo posting here and leave the site. It's unfortunate that aesthetics are of more importance than members' visual comfort.

@PreZ wouldn't it be something like Web Developer? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/60/ (not making any advertising but I think this may be an useful plugin!)
