Re: Ireland - Any Irish goths floating about in here?
Twisted Peppers sound isn't great, the bass is always way too high in the mix, but that could work in their favour. Killing Joke play Button Factory tomorrow...can't go

It used to be a dope joint for hip hop, most nights they were playing only the illest tunes with the phattest bass lines, the low end was gettho.
*ahem*
Which is probably why they have it so high.
Peace.

It's not like they could change that by twisting a knob.

Re: Ireland - Any Irish goths floating about in here?
I would have thought it would be sorted by the bands during soundcheck, but I've seen a lot of gigs in there and it's always the same. I asked my brother about it (his band played there earlier in the year), and he said everything was fine during check, and then it wasn't right during the gig *shrugs*

Biffo's out, €70 billion debt is in... Even with the debt I'd still be thrilled with getting rid of FF...if I believed for one second that the "opposition" was any better *sigh*

Hello, Irish goths. Do I count, coming from the North. Not there are many places to frequent up here, besides maybe Fresh Garbage and Games Workshop. If anyone knows anywhere else, in Belfast, tell me, please?

Welcome Inhuman Lunatic! The only info I have regarding the North is from this 6 year old post : 65-1057869934 wrote: Well, I'm only 15 and unfortunately I'm not old enough to get into these two clubs but I know people who go to these: Cornucopia, held at The Venue in Belfast, look at this site for more info. Synthetic, this is more electro and EBM stuff it's held twice a month (I think) in the Rosetta in Belfast look here for details. I think there are one or two other clubs... what's your friends name? I might know them... Hope thats not all useless info

Cornucopia is still running, in the student center in Queens. It's a good night out, and you *might* be able to wiggle your way in. Did you know Scottish Andy up in GW Belfast?
EDIT: Faderhead on Saturday, NachtMahr in January... fuck yeah.

I guess being 14 I don't have a chance of getting into either club. Thanks for the info though, . I don't believe I did know Scottish Andy, the only two that knew my face was the german? one, and the one with the kind of american accent.

I haven't been yet, but I heard it's been de-kipified. Something I'll just have to see for myself
