[need] Bizzare and 'Hyper' Punkish Deathrock
Now relax from giving facepalms, I fully understand that saying "Punkish Deathrock" is like saying "an Oily Oil" - I just wanted to transmit all the information in one short (?) title. What I'm looking for is really upbeat and really bizzare (lyrically and/or musically) DR. I'm not a big expert (not an expert at all) of Deathrock and Punk, so I can't find anything suitable. The best examples for what I'm looking for are "Violent World" and "Evil" - both by 45 Grave. So, feel free to throw musical alms at me. Anything goes from Punk to Avant-garde - but as 'goth' as possible

Have you tried looking for bands similar to 45 grave using last.fm or even TasteKid. Sorry that I can't help more than offering websites....my tastes are pretty folksy right now

Re: [need] Bizzare and 'Hyper' Punkish Deathrock
Have you tried listening to Deadchovsky? They aren't very 'punkish' but they're upbeat and bizarre as hell for sure! I'd also recommend Violet Stigmata, and I think Tragic Black is a good choice as well, in case you haven't listened to them yet. These bands aren't exactly punkish either but they play quite upbeat music and they mix a somewhat 'industrial-ish' sound with deathrock, which in my opnion is... interesting to say the least, but of course I can understand if it's not the sort of 'bizarre' you're looking for.

If you like crap, I'd suggest Rudimentary Peni. I personally find their sound absolutely abhorrent.

I can see some people like some of their stuff and hating other stuff, from what I've heard of them. I'd suggest: Samhain Naughty Zombies The Cramps Subtonix (might be too weird/ noisy) The Nuns Cancerslug (earlier stuff)
