Its a modern version of a dream catcher, you just flush those nightmares away. I've not seen a chain used... thankfully!

SHHHhhhhh! *thinks about how glad he is that he didn't have his closet open in the picture, exposing an extensive collection of leather, vinyl, and chain leashes*

There was a discussion about leash collars; you can't just use a dog collar, its too narrow and a danger of damage to the throat. Any damage in that area is very, very bad news. The collar ought to be padded and quite wide, even then you have to take care. Back on topic, my bedroom is a mess at the moment, what with rummaging around before for the holiday and the sorting out of dirty cloths afterward. Meh!

Some dog owners are actually arguing against neck-restraints for their pets these days in favor of harnesses. I guess there have been cases where dogs throats have been damaged from choke chains, normal collars, etc.

Well, my room is black..... and purple.....

Okay. I'd like to give a more detailed description, but I really can't so I think I'd have to post a pic, but my room is quite cluttered at the moment.

My bedroom looks like an armory, with one wall of medieval weapons and one corner with a rifle rack. There is a framed Wall of Voodoo poster and a couple of pre-Raphaelite paintings, though. And cat stuff.

I can also tell you about sound effects - bird noises (can't identify all of them though), cats meowing in the evening, a neighbor's music in the early evening (generally classical), the upstairs neighbor practicing the clarinet in midday (actually pretty good)...

my bedroom looks like a bombs hit it! clothes and paper everywhere! lol luckily I will be sorting my crap and re decorating and moving into my bro's room soon

My room is lilac, and the rose curtains help warm the colour up. Bedsheets are always purple or indigo. Furnishings tend to be either silvery or warm-coloured pine wood. I don't have a huge deal of posters because my room is small, but I have a nice Alchemy Gothic calender next to my wardrobe, a cluster of Princess Ai images near my TV (which is set onto a wall bracket) and a large blue Crow poster above the bed. There are lots of bits and bobs around the room, some Japanese-looking (like my Kimmidoll) and some are more gothic in appearance (like the Dead Cute Luv Bunny in her coffin). I also have coloured fairy lights around the bed, as I think they are nicer than a lamp. There are lots of dark, jewel colours in my room :)

A picture's worth a thousand words, right? Well, I have photos of my room, they're not that great, most of them don't show much, but a picture's still worth a thousand words, right?

My room, pre-institutionalization (trashed).

Me, my room, pre-institutionalization (non-trashed).

Me, my room, pre-institutionalization (non-trashed) 2.

Me, my closet, interior, pre-institutionalization.

Me, my closet, interior

Me, windows, bed, tin foil hat, and part of my stereo.

Me, window, '98 Godzilla poster, and bed.

Shelves, desk, fire crackers, tin foil hat, broken fax machine, and other assorted filth.

Bookshelf, wall, door, trash, and boxes of assorted garbage.

Yeah, I'm a total slob...but it looks nice when its clean!

If I had a bedroom, I'd tell of it. But for now I just crash in the main room. (roommate and I share a 1 bedroom apartment, he gets the bedroom.) Looks like the equivalent to a plain, blank apartment with music equipment/amps off to the side or in the closet. Some of my 'room' is likely visible in my pictures. The place, and by place, I mean entire apt., is often spotless and cleaned completely. Floors vac'd, dishes done, because I am a total neat freak. lol. I am like a butler boi.

My room is looking suspiciously like a basement... over-cluttered and things in boxes.
Two siblings are also rooming in it also, as we have a lot of work to do on our house.
But I plan to paint it dark purple and have black and white curtains on the windows. I think my furniture, which is dark stained wood, would go nicely with the purple

Boring bedroom (but note the page on the computer)
But a nice view out the window

I saw the page on the computer, but what I noticed mainly was the browser theme, I'm pretty sure I have the same one. My room is pretty messy now, but I'm getting black curtains, I have a large skeleton key hanging to the wall, a mini grandfather clock on my night stand, and a foam skull in a cage hanging above my bed.

Nothing special about my browser theme - I just wanted a color that would coordinate with my background picture. My computer's background is from four old neon signs -they've been in Los Angeles (practically landmarks) for years.
