Life hasn't always been easy ( i've kinda stopped realizing recently because my home life has been hell ) i don't get acepted because i balance ramstine and rakim, nas and nirvana.

as much as ppl have been making fun of x-t, i must stand up and admit that i too listen to rap. as well as oldies, polka, metal (of all types), blues, R&B, punk, bluegrass, and everything else. each kind of music is quite different, but i like variety. it gives you a better understanding of the ppl who listen to it exclusively, thus helping you cope with them. certain moods and times are better for listening to certain kinds of music. for instance when alone with a girl, Marvin Gaye sets the desired mood much more then Cannibal Corpse would. but on the same token Cannibal Corpse is good "stuck in traffic wanna kill the world" kind of music. every musical style obviousely has its good and bad artists, but if your open minded enough i find you can enjoy everything.

Noone said there was anything wrong with listening to rap, hip hop or anything else; clearly there isn't.

The mirth in the post is rather related to the phrasing, and the content (he apparently considers Nirvana goth? And Lord knows who "Ramstine" are -- the new Americanized spelling, maybe)
