At one point there were 11, but some had homes found for them. Who can resist a fluffy kitten? At the moment I have four of them and my mother has 6. I miss Chuckie, George, Georgette, Angel, Sasha and Tipsy (renamed Binky)! :( They're in Canada and I'm in England, but I brought 2 of mine over with me to join my two Brit Kits. :D

Awww... I bet the cats in Canada miss you, too! Are any of the pictures of your kitties in England?

Yup! The first picture is Charles (his brother, Chuckie, is in Canada), the black and b&w cats are my UK babies, and the stretched out brown Tabby is Pixar, the other Canadian. The rest of his family (mother Georgette, uncle George, sister Angel and daddy, Chuckie) are in Canada. But he so loved his uncle Charles, that they were the two I brought with me. You can see what I men by the sappy picture of the two of them together on my bed!

Lorda, your kitties are cute!

Or maybe I'll be like Byron and adopt a Newfoundland.

I'm off on a kitty-squee!!!

Thank you so much for sharing.

Thanks! They are truly wonderful cats. People say that cats are "snobby" but mine are very affectionate. A girl I was dating called Yorick "beagle cat" because he loves to be petted so much. He's a big boy at 15 pounds, but he is very sweet like his sister and mother. Sometimes I'll wake up at night and they are all sleeping with me, purring away. All three are a joy to have.

But, even the "snobby" ones are characters! But it is, indeed, a misconception that they're all like that; one of mine - curiously, a ginger (maybe it's a trait of theirs?) - is such a love bug!

Thanks, Midieval!

I'm going to have to concur on that one. And I must say - I'm totally not partial. :P

I will also take both your Hesita and Nyx (what awesome AWESOME names!), thankyouverymuch.

Thank you...I have an obsession with Mythology, so it seemed only natural I would let it loose upon my pets.

My tigercats are just the nicest cats, I didn't know how lucky I was until I heard stories from other cat owners. They hadn't been around their mother since they were kittens until I rescued her, and she is still a bit aggressive. My boy, Yorick, is so sweet and when she hisses or swipes at him he just backs up and sits down patiently. I can see some of her mannerisms in both Yorick and Calliope.
A friend of mine from the Renn scene came over make a pattern from my crossbow, and he was very surprised. He said that my place was the first multi-cat household he had ever seen that did not smell like cat pee. I told him that my cats are very well behaved, and just as importantly, I keep their litterbox very clean.
One of their sisters in Florida was going outside the litterbox and my then-girlfriend was angry, threatening to take her to a shelter. I urged her to take a close look at what was happening, and to take the cat to the vet and have her checked out. It turned out that it was a medical problem.

So, the little beastie typically manages to avoid the camera, but she wasn't so lucky this morning. So, here is my sweet little black kitty, Moonlight.

Very pretty. :)

I just have one cat, Marley. She came with the name and I've never changed it. I'm not sure how old she is, but I speculate she was about a year when I got her (which was around just this past Summer). Honestly, I cannot stand not having a cat. Their little tendencies you take for granted...like watching the toilet flush, misjudging leaps, their ingrained need to drink directly out of the sink, attacking toes under a blanket or even laying in the middle of your flight path as you're doing household chores. My cat follows everyone all over the house. You address her, she meows. And while she doesn't like water, she insists on testing out hopping in the shower with you. She will also meow until you follow her just so you could be there when she eats. I'm not sure why.

Your cat is awesome! Mine is black and yellow-eyed too... I'll post its photos later.
