The Gothic Dictionary

This is a little game I just thought up:

It works kind of like the Redneck Dictionary created by Jeff Foxworthy. Jeff Foxworthy explains it best with this.

So, you find a word (preferably dark), and you use it in a sentence in a way that it normally would never be used.

If the word chosen is not dark in some way, try to use it in a dark sentence.

Here are some of mine :

Gothic: Man, That’s gothic skin!

(Gothic= Got Thick)

Distorted: Distorted carry crucifixes after all!

(Distorted= the store did)

Mystic: Mr. Hat meet Mystic

(Mystic = Ms. Stick)

Cancer (Compliments to the movie “Up In The Air”) : Would you like a cancer?

(Cancer = can, sir)

Evil: Hey, Evil help you!

(Evil= Eve will)

Melancholy: Melancholy actually slept last night.

(Melancholy= Mel in Collie)

Occult: Occult was found in the stable this morning.

(Occult= A cult)

Bauhaus: *Dr. Wilson to Dr.House* I Think that means you should Bauhaus.

(Bauhaus= bow, House)

Massacre: That’s one massacre of land!

(Massacre = Mass acre)

Traitor: Do you think traitor personality describes your behavior best?

(Traitor = trait or)

Banshees: That’s a good Banshees a good singer.

(Banshees= Band. She’s)



Feel free to change any mentioned here and add your own!

I love it! Its like Douglas Addams "meaning of lif" dictionary.

muse - Can you muse that thing in here?

Harpy - What you say to a friend when you point out someone urinating in public.

Ankh - What very, very small boats use to keep position.

Deathrocker - A kind of chair used by very old goths.

Peter Steel - A grade of Iron/Carbon alloy often confused by female goths for a long piece of wood (usage now depricated).

Pete Murphy - Originator of the famous law.

ASF? - What goth teenagers ask when joining an internet chatroom.

Gothic rock - coal.

Desolent: Desolent out her favorite handcuffs.

(Desolent = Deso lent)
