Post Somewhere along the line a mascot got mentioned...
...And, I can never resist a challenge! So here, for everyone's attention, is a first attempt at a design for a mascot...

Wow! I love that... A "glow" of some kind - perhaps in a deep violet - would really, really make the figure stand out well, and it would make the whole picture work brilliantly.
