Bittersweet illusion, thanks and enjoy:
Hekate Regina Clinker = Kaigrreetelncieakhn
Hekate: reflecting the Victorians' fondness for classical names, this is the ancient Greek name of the goddess of the moon, crossroads, and sorcery.
******************************************************
Nightspectre
Hyperion T. Tintannon = tytnnniraonpioneth
Hyperion: as mentioned above, the Victorians' had a fondness for classical names. In ancient Greek myth, Hyperion was the Titan who fathered the lights of the heavens. His name means "watcher from above."

 Re: Anagramming Steampunk Names
What fun, what fun! Here's my full name (I hope it's not troublesome that I have two middle names): Axilneeeseiljoecyssvaaen. And for my two favourite gents: Hreniaenlaexdrbcenuklfsiet and Gvainpualkrlabyorosbun Who coincedentally also both have second middle names.

Interesting, as the steampunk genre is only really known to me through fiction..... and Fields of the Nephilim, of course.

Oh my! Hmm, good work Nephele! I think I might just chop off the last name at the end though, it seems like a bit much (my fault, I know, it is a lot of letters to work with). Alternately, perhaps could you try with just their first, last and the nicer of their middle names to form a first and last (like Alphonso Mawlstoker and everyone else)?: aednirnteaifxshleer and visunabgpoournpl I just want to see if this works better... I'm sorry if it's troublesome. You don't have too if you don't want to, because frankly, Sir Alexander Bethuel and Baron Alvy Paulus are quite fitting... and yet curiosity killed the cat. I love my own name though!

Thank you. And, yes, that will be helpful. Generally, multiple middle names tend to be a bit much to work with. (Although a scramble that's too short isn't too good, because Steampunk names tend to be a bit lengthy.) I'll be back later with new anagrams for you and your friends. It's no trouble at all, Purple-black. When people enjoy the names I anagram for them, it makes me kinda happy. -- Nephele -- Wed Apr 14, 2010 6:26 am -- Purple-black13, try these names for your friends: Daniel Rixenfeathers= aednirnteaifxshleer Appius V. Longbourn= visunabgpoournpl And if you'd like to give me a shorter scramble of your own name, I'll be happy to re-do that as well. -- Nephele

One anagramming thread isn't enough, folks, she's insatiable (and will be the first to admit it, I'll wager). So here ya go: ilrniiutersccnanvct And always wanting to contribute, here's a scrambler that scrambles as you type. (I type, it scrambles? You type, it scrambles.)
