That's not really what I asked though. I'm sure you do listen to music you like (most people do) and I'm sure very few people listen to only goth music. So, what kind of goth (or other ..) music do you listen to? It's just a question..

I'm sorry my brains not working today(it still wants to sleep) but anyways, I've been goin through mood swings in the last few days, some days i'm listening/downloading nirvana all day, or songs from the queen of the damned soundtrack or disturded, staind and so on. But now since i'm in the process of burning a cd full of techno/rave tunes thats what i've been listening/into.

eh...lazy people...i am ur queen! lol jk

ANYways... Right now since i'm 17 i'm stuck under my parents watch for a few more months, which means for right now i have to either hide or not even bother w/ all the gothic music. See my parents overprotective christians, and it's hard for me cuz i'm not(but they dont know it) so either i have to hide all my "goth" band cds and/or downlaoded songs.
Trying to stay on good terms w/ them cuz around feduary i might plan on askin them if i can go for a "trip" w/ a freind to somewhere *cough*mardi gras*cough*

So you only have to hide your goth bands?

See this is what I find particularly bizarre. Most teenagers don't know what Goth bands are, let alone parents. I know my parents couldn't and still can't differentiate between goth and other types of music.

All the time we see people come in here with Religious fanatics for parents. So fucking what? You learn to deal with them. Perhaps if you didn't go out of your way to declare yourself goth and the music you listen you as Goth you wouldn't have an issue. How many parents actually try and remember all the bands that their children listen to?

Now before you said you were into Goth bands and from what I have seen you haven't named a goth band yet. So perhaps you are talking out your arse and they aren't goth bands?

Mes
