Haha, i actually watched that on comedy central a few hours ago. i laughed my ass off. If she really is that smart, and really acts that dumb, it is just sad.

omigawd, too funny!

"All I'm saying is, baby, Gretchen, come back. You don't have to stash your I.Q. in an off-shore account. Just cause you're on the couch with Jack Tripper and Janet doesn't mean you have to pretend to be Chrissy."

Gretchen Carlson is just manipulating a dumb audience by acting dumb herself and giving them something to relate to. I can't take Fox Noise seriously. Glenn Beck is their biggest clown.

BWAHAHAHA!

Oh, I don't know who these people are (apart from Jon Stewart of course), but that was hysterical.

Ignoramus? Yes, the origin of that word is from a 17th century play, about a lawyer. But the first listed definition isn't that.

The second definition, of course, is "Gretchen Carlson". :p

I saw this earlier today on 4 On Demand, because as I'm a dirty unAmerican foreigner I'm not allowed to watch it on the official site. The whole India segment made me crack up like a good 'un.

I nearly peed myself when he concluded by telling her that from now on, she should give 120%.

I lol'd. Hard.
Too bad I didn't know who Gretchen was before - Fox News makes me very angry. I can only really watch the local news - huge networks are.. well.. supposed to be entertaining. Fox News just wants to bring in the views from both angry viewers and incredibly fucked up viewers.

Anyway, go Stewart.

Too funny!

In reality, though, there are some highly intelligent people who are just....ignorant.

True… But I think that more often such otherwise intelligent people are simply dishonest and manipulative.

The feigned ignorance and histrionics of the Fox Noise network stars are applauded by a credulous audience that is incapable of knowing when they're being condescended to.

There's no way that someone who graduated Stanford with honors, who studied abroad at Oxford, and whose job it is to report the news, doesn't know what "czar" means or that we've had "drug czars" and the like for years. No way.
