Post In need of assistance from the masses!
I've embarked on a mission to make a music video of sorts to She's dancing by The last dance. I was looking to take snippets from movies and tv series that are worthy of commemoration. However, my knowledge is limited. On top of it all, I'm searching within certain constraints seeing as I do want to capture the feel of the particular song, and that's excluding hunting down the files successfully!
I've done a good deal of research as it is and have now decided to give into a much more (not so vexing) convenient method.

I've been more inclined towards a vampiric and or romantigoth kind of vibe. I admit, I'm actually looking forward to sapping out on this one, albeit within tasteful manner.
I've also been looking for beautiful and tasteful dance scenes.

I'm aware that my specifications do me a disservice. Nevertheless, I'll be deeply appreciative over any meager amount of help offered.

What are you looking for help with, precisely? The editing aspect, or hunting down clips for your video?

I'm just looking for suggestions concerning the choice snippets I should go hunting for.
Well, that would be ideal but it would be great if anyone could suggest great movies, series, and even music videos that I could take from.

I can suggest an amazing dance scene for you, although it's not of a vampiric or romantigoth kind of vibe. But it's one of the most brilliant dance numbers ever captured on screen.

It's a scene of Rita Hayworth dancing in the 1947 movie titled Down to Earth. In this movie, she plays the muse of dance, Terpsichore. (This movie was later remade into that awful Olivia Neutron Bomb disaster, Xanadu.)

The scene involves Terpsichore having come down to earth in human disguise because she's upset by modern-day dance. She enters a theater and watches the dancers on stage as they're rehearsing for an upcoming production. Another supernatural being (also in human disguise) is with her. She complains about the competition to her companion, and asks how she can possibly get into the show. Her companion wryly replies: "You're the goddess of song and dance, aren't you? You'll think of something."

The next scene is absolute brilliance. Terpsichore sneaks onto the stage, and begins dancing in the background. Within seconds, through a series of precise and flawless dance moves, she gradually attains the front of the chorus line -- and Rita Hayworth's dancing clearly and convincingly outshines the lead chorus girl.

If you're into dance (as I am), you'll really appreciate this scene. You should be able to find the movie on YouTube. The scene I'm talking about occurs not too far into the movie, near the beginning.

I like the dance scene in "Van Helsing." It's not the greatest movie ever but Kate Beckinsale's character is kind of in a trance the entire time.
Speaking of Kate Beckinsale (love her, btw), she was a vampire in Underworld and Underworld: Evolution. That might give you some vampiric footage.
Good luck with your project!

I hated Xanadu. But I'll have to give Down To Earth a watch since I love olde movies.
