I know it's kind of morbid and depressing, but when you compare it to quotes like "a stranger is just a friend you haven't met yet" it makes an interesting contrast.

I have another quote but I don't have it word for word and I can't remember who said/wrote it originally, this is just a approximation.
"goth is the enjoyment of the dark and morbid things in life"
