at first i really didnt like the idea of Robert Downey Jr as Tony Stark. he doesnt look like Tony Stark at all! i was thinking of Timothy Dalton, sharp eyes, suave, etc. but then he's too old to portray tony.

i really thought that Robert wouldnt pull it off. heck, i was wrong! he actually managed to give the character justice.

and yes, I am including the Spider-man films with the 'mediocre'; sorry, Mr. Raimi, but I think it's time to go back to that fourth Evil Dead script

Spider-Man 1 & 2 were great. Spider-Man 3 made me want to stab myself in the eye.

I would love to see Iron Man, but it won't be released in the Sun Islands until September. :(

Why do you say that?

I thought it was one of the more intelligent Superhero films.

I enjoyed Iron man very much. I thought it was one of the better movies to come out this year, especially concerning Superheroes.

Something about that was funny to me. "One of the better superhero movies of the year". lol. You know? Like we need MORE superhero movies every year, or ever really.

But, I must admit, I liked both Iron Man and The Dark Knight.

However, the Incredible Hulk seemed totally unnecessary. I mean, that other Hulk movie came out just a few years ago.

Were there more superhero movies this year? Are more coming out?

I LOVE THIS FILM, I saw it twice at the flics and can't wait for the DVD to come out this week. I am utterly obsessed with Rovert Downey Jr and I thought he was perfect as Tony Stark. The man has truly lived life to the excess so he was perfect for the part of a billionaire playboy who has lost touch with reality and was ignorant to thefeelings of everyone around him.

I did NOT like Gwyneth Paltrow though....the blatant "we have to disguise the fact she is pregnant" stunts, her generally wooden acting, the total lack of chemistry on her part.....and her stupidity for not toally jumping on Robert and carting him off to the sack, hehehe....I'd not have to be asked twice for sure!!!

When I went to see Hulk I was very disappointed but the fleeting glimpse of his cameo at the end made it all worthwhile. Roll on the Iron Man 2!!

My ex-boyfriend has recently spent £4000 on a custom sculpted fibreglass Iron Man suit of armour, it looks utterly stupendous but OMG, £4000......I'll post pics once it's all revealed, it's still being completed.

I refuse to buy a super hero movie on any platform but blu ray. (Unless it's superman returns. Then I just refuse to buy it period).

I'm also curious why you think is is such a bad movie.

I must admit when I saw the preview it looked cheesey, but I got invited to see it by someone and I was very wrong. It went way beyond my expectations..

I think The Dark Knight was more of my taste, but Iron Man was still a great movie imo.

Necrotic, you won't likely be seeing a response from SilverZexion. Under his name, you'll see "Troll" which means he was banned at some point for, well, trolling.
