Year Zero was brilliant, but my favourite album this year has been Elect the Dead, by Serj Tankian.

Only bought four 2007 albums, being:
America Inquisition- Christian Death
Icky Thump- The White Stripes
What's the Time Mr Wolf- Noisettes
Zeitgeist- The Pumpkins
Pretty fond of them all, but am going with Spiderlimbs and Icky Thump as the best.

Not that I should be surprised that your post is lame, incomplete and sucks, all your posts up until now have.

My In Rainbows Discbox arrived last night, and I must say Disc 2 is just as great as I anticipated. It's nice to know the lyrics for the songs on the first disc now too. For anyone interested, the disc will be released through the independent label XL Recordings [part of Beggar's Banquet] on January 1st in retail stores. So it may make the rounds as best of 2008 as well.

Add another vote for In Rainbows, not the least because of the renegade stance against the standard means of distribution.
And Jenny, your icon cracks me up every time I read a post by you.

Thanks! I'm pretty proud of it. I figured it'd be a good quote what with his overbite and all.

My favourites this year were "Labyrinth" from Blutengel, "Dark Passion Play" from Nightwish and "Trinity" from Visions of Atlantis.
For me that were the best this year.

Just thought I'd throw in another vote for Skinny Puppy - "Mythmaker" and Saul Williams - "The Inevitable Rise and Liberation of NiggyTardust", and also add Dizzee Rascal - "Maths + English"

Just a quick thanks to all whose recommendations put me on the trail of Bjork's 'Volta'. I've found out what magnificent sounds I've been missing out on all these months.
Think I'll start raiding her back catalogue (if that doesn't sound too rude).
