I have four or five friends who are completly obsessed with this song; and I was wondering what everyone else thinks of it. (:

Certainly very addictive and horribly catchy, I'll say that now! (I think the English translation is strange, I'll let you make up your mind)

I was strangely addicted to that song for ages, especially after Gary Brolsma did his version Numa Numa
And I'll agree on the English Translation being a little weird, I saw a subtitled version when it was first released, odd.....

I was addicted to it and O-zone in general for a while, but then I moved on to Franz Ferdinand and then Muse, which pretty much leaves this song and little disbanded O-zone in the dust.
It's a cute song, really. But if I go the rest of my life never hearing about it again, it'll be too soon..

Ha, yeah, I remember that song, I used to love it as well. Listening to it now, in fact, always good to reminisce!
The link you posted doesn't work though, but here's another one

How old is this song, anyway? Everybody's talking about it like it's old. I stopped listening to pop years ago, so I first heard this song some time this year in the Numa Numa video. So it's not nostalgic for me, just funny.

I first heard it in the winter of 2004-2005, and by that time it was already well-known in Europe.

It's as strange in the original Romanian as it is when translated
